The Philadelphia Phillies are the hosts of the 2026 MLB All-Star game, and they will be well represented in front of the home crowd on July 14th. There were five Phillies selected to the big game. Here’s who was revealed on Saturday night.
Brandon Marsh, OF

Brandon Marsh is the lone Phillies starter in the All-Star game, earning his first career selection. This is well deserved, as he has carried the offense in Philadelphia at times this season. He is hitting .315 with 15 home runs.
Kyle Schwarber, DH

Kyle Schwarber won’t be starting the All-Star game due to Shohei Ohtani locking that spot up in the fan vote phase, but he definitely was good enough to start. He’s once again having an MVP-level season in Philadelphia. He leads the MLB in home runs with 30 home runs.
Bryce Harper, 1B

Bryce Harper was selected as the “legend pick” for the NL All-Star reserves, meaning he was handpicked by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred. This is his ninth MLB All-Star selection and second as a Phillie.
Cristopher Sanchez, SP

Cristopher Sanchez was a lock to make this game, as he’s been one of the best pitchers in the entire MLB. From a legendary scoreless streak to keeping the team afloat when struggling, he’s been the Phillies best player in 2026. Now, there’s just one question left: Will he be the NL starter?
Jhoan Duran, RP

Jhoan Duran was selected to his first MLB All-Star game, and he may be the one the Philly fans are looking forward to seeing the most. Could you imagine that entrance in the All-Star game? He has 21 saves on the season, blowing just one opportunity.
End Of My Philadelphia Phillies MLB All-Star Rant
Philadelphia was already going to be electric for the MLB All-Star game, but with the number of selections, the fans will be even crazier. The energy in the ballpark is sure to make for a great atmosphere and contest between the AL and the NL. Zack Wheeler was one of the biggest snubs of the All-Star pitchers. He has one of the MLB’s best ERA’s.
