The Philadelphia Eagles are always a team in the middle of NFL trade rumors at this point in the offseason. Howie Roseman is always trying to find ways to improve the already Super-Bowl caliber roster. Here’s a look at three players who would be great additions in Philadelphia.
Deonte Banks

Deonte Banks wouldn’t be the big move that Howie Roseman has become known for, but it would be a good depth move at corner. This trade would be very similar to the Jahan Dotson trade the Eagles made with the Washington Commanders a few years ago. Acquiring a former first-round draft pick from a divisional rival to use as a high-upside depth piece.
Grant Delpit

Grant Delpit is the most realistic trade option for Philadelphia. He plays a position of need (safety) and is a very underrated player. If comparing this move to another Roseman trade, think of the CJ Gardner-Johnson move a few years back. Delpit is entering a contract year with the Cleveland Browns, and they have already been preparing for life without him. They drafted Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in the 2026 NFL draft.
If Philadelphia can land Delpit, they would have essentially no weaknesses on the defensive side of the ball. Starting safety is the only question for Vic Fangio’s unit, and this would address that in a major way.
Maxx Crosby

Maxx Crosby is the dream target for the Eagles, but it’s not going to be easy to secure him. It would cost a first-round pick, perhaps two, and a great young piece. The Eagles would hopefully never consider including Jalen Carter, but that’s probably the first ask from the Las Vegas Raiders. A more realistic piece to be included would be Nolan Smith Jr.
End Of My Philadelphia Eagles Rumors Rant
The Eagles’ chasing Banks, Delpit, or Crosby depends on their aggressiveness before the season. Adding Banks would be a depth move that fans would kind of brush away. Trading for Delpit would receive high praise and cement the defense as one of the best units in the league. Dreaming of a Crosby trade would do everything for Philadelphia. They instantly jump back into the “team to beat” talks heading into the 2026-27 NFL season.
