As the NFL season draws closer, time is running out to place futures bets. Player props are fun, but there is money to be made in the win total markets. Some of the lines are a steal considering the schedules. These win total bets are locks for the 2025 season.

5. Lions Over 8.5 Wins (-235)

The Detroit Lions are being doubted because they lost both coordinators this offseason, and they play in the best division in the NFL, but they will be fine. Nine wins are very attainable for Detroit. Dan Campbell is at the helm, and the core of players remains the same. At the very least, they will split the division, giving them three wins. They have easy wins waiting for them against the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants, leaving just four more wins needed to cash the bet.

4. Saints Under 6.5 Wins (-280)

The New Orleans Saints appear to be bad heading into 2025. The quarterback situation is a mess, the defense isn’t great, and Kellen Moore is currently an unproven head coach. Looking at the schedule, it’s nearly impossible to find seven wins. New Orleans will have a high draft pick at the 2026 NFL Draft, and they could have a quarterback in their sights.

3. Colts Under 8.5 Wins (-180)

The Indianapolis Colts are a weird team. A quarterback battle between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones is less than ideal. It’s tough to see a world where they win nine games and enter the playoff picture. The Houston Texans will dominate the division, and the Jacksonville Jaguars won’t be far behind. 2025 looks bleak for the Colts.

2. Browns Under 6.5 Wins (-220)

Similar to the Saints, the Cleveland Browns are going to be at the top of the 2026 NFL Draft. They are a mess. The defense has solid pieces, but the offense is abysmal, and the quarterback situation is bad. They possess two first-round picks and certainly have a quarterback in mind with one of them. Don’t expect any noise out of Cleveland in 2025.

1. Steelers Over 7.5 Wins (-180)

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ line being set at eight wins should be illegal. Mike Tomlin could clear that in his sleep. The playoffs are another hurdle, but eight regular-season wins are free. The defense will be one of the best units in the league, and they can win eight games on their own. The offense is improved from last season. The Steelers will surprise people in 2025, and they will win more than eight games.

End Of My NFL Rant

The 2025 NFL season is filled to the brim with exciting action. It’s the best sports league in the world and the most fun to bet on. These victory total bets are a lock for the season. Good teams win, but great teams cover. Injuries can always play a role, but it’s hard to see a future where these bets don’t hit.
