NFL Week 4 Injury Report: Baker Mayfield, TB – Thumb (Dislocated) – OUT 3 WEEKS
Status: Dislocated right thumb on final drive vs. Vikings in Week 3. X-rays negative, MRI Monday. Head coach Todd Bowles confirmed he will miss 3 weeks, return target Week 7 vs Panthers.
Fantasy Impact: Huge downgrade for Tampa passing game. Mayfield hadn’t been playing well before injury. Jalon Daniels gets first crack as starter. Avoid Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin Jr., Bucky Irving until return. Packers face backup in Week 4 at Tampa.

Caleb Williams, CHI – Hamstring
Status: Dealing with hamstring heading into Week 4 vs Jets. Bears kept him OFF injured reserve, sign he could return in <4 weeks, but likely out Week 4.
Fantasy Impact: Bears QB situation uncertain, boosts Jets D/ST streaming appeal.

Jayden Daniels, WAS – Elbow
Status: Commanders say Daniels will be back at practice this week. Surprising if ready for Week 4 vs Colts, but trending toward return. Marcus Mariota was solid in Week 3 upset win over Seahawks and is viable streamer if Daniels sits.
Fantasy Impact: Mariota = top 5 QB streamer for Week 4.

Jaxson Dart, NYG – Knee – OUT FOR SEASON
Status: Out for season, on IR. Confirmed.

Bryce Young, CAR – New injury listed as questionable, plus Jalen Coker (quad) also questionable for Week 4 vs Lions.

NFL Week 4 Injury Report RUNNING BACKS – The Big 3

De’Von Achane, MIA – Knee (Torn ACL) – OUT FOR SEASON – Officially on IR
Status: Blew out knee early vs Chiefs Week 3, tests Monday confirmed torn ACL, ending his 2026 season. ESPN report Monday. Dolphins are 0-3, worst team in NFL.
Fantasy Impact: Season-ender for early-round pick.

You can’t replace his profile. Waiver wire now is Ollie Gordon II and Jaylen Wright. Gordon (17 carries, 41 yards, 3 catches, TD in Week 3) gets first crack as RB1 with Wright inactive. Wright was clear RB2 since last season, listed RB2 on depth chart, out-carried Gordon 3-0 before his own stinger/foot injury in Week 2. Day-to-day, 60% carry share + passing down work when healthy. Both are terrible Week 4 vs Vikings – don’t start them.

Breece Hall, NYJ – Quad/Thigh – WEEK-TO-WEEK – Likely OUT Week 4
Status: Injured on opening drive of 4th quarter vs Lions, 31-24 loss. MRI Monday = good news, not as significant as feared, but week-to-week designation implies he won’t play Week 4 vs 2-1 Chicago Bears. Last Word on NFL confirms he won’t play Week 4.
Fantasy Impact: Braelon Allen is RB1 to target on waivers. Allen had 4 carries for 14 yards in Week 3 as fill-in. He will get bulk of work, massive role vs Bears. Isaiah Davis deep-league stash. Allen is predicted to score most fantasy points of any RB on waiver this week.

Travis Etienne Jr., NO – Hamstring – Expected to miss time
Status: Exited vs Raiders Week 3, unable to return. Having OK game before exit (15 touches, 70 total yards). Expected to miss at least a few weeks, possible IR.
Fantasy Impact: Alvin Kamara leads backfield in carries + targets, clearly ahead of Kendre Miller. Kamara volume makes him fantasy-relevant despite ugly offense. Kendre Miller + CJ Donaldson mix in.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Justin Jefferson, MIN – Ankle Sprain – Could Play Week 4 vs Dolphins
Status: Forced to leave vs Bucs early, right ankle issue. Coach Kevin O’Connell said Jefferson was “close” to returning but couldn’t get push-off. Ian Rapoport reports imaging good, not long-term, ankle sprain, could play Week 4 vs Dolphins. Vikings may opt to sit him vs worst offense in league.
Fantasy Impact: If Jefferson sits, Jordan Addison becomes attractive start – had 5-90-1 line vs Tampa. Juicy matchup vs Miami.

Mike Evans, SF – Rib Strain – Day-to-Day
Status: Carted to locker room after hard hit to side/back, struggling to breathe. Diagnosed rib strain, day-to-day per NFL Network. 49ers already down Ricky Pearsall (knee out for season) and Demarcus Robinson.
Fantasy Impact: If out, Deebo Samuel Sr. and George Kittle lead passing game. Jordan Watkins (2nd-year WR) interesting deep-league add.

Puka Nacua, LAR – Groin, Hip
Status: Missed 2nd straight game. Team believes possible Week 4 return per Adam Schefter, but surgery still on table if no improvement. Team does not believe surgery needed yet.

Nico Collins, HOU – Hamstring – Monitor practice

Jalen Coker, CAR – Quad – Questionable for Week 4
Status: Forced to leave early at Cleveland, quad strain, questionable for Sunday Night vs Lions. Great matchup if active – Detroit defense fantasy-friendly.

Adonai Mitchell, NYJ – Finger, Garrett Wilson – Dealing with issue, Jalen McMillan, TB – Knee OUT 6-8 weeks

Damien Lewis, CAR G – UCL Elbow – Out few weeks
Status: Panthers starting LG will be sidelined a few weeks with UCL injury per Mike Garafolo, but bye in Week 5 so maybe only 1 game missed.

TIGHT ENDS / DEFENSE

Dallas Goedert, PHI – Knee, Chig Okonkwo, WAS – Hamstring – Both limited

Azeez Al-Shaair, HOU LB – Groin – Could miss Week 4 vs Cowboys per Aaron Wilson, after suffering in loss to Colts.
