Week Four of NFL Thursday Night Football is a battle of the birds, when the Seattle Seahawks travel to take on the Arizona Cardinals. The fight between the 2-1 teams will go a long way toward determining the winner in a tight NFC West. Continue for an in-depth preview and prediction, team stats, and ranking provided by Fox Sports.

Cardinals NFL TNF Preview

The Cardinals lost arguably the backbone of their offense in running back James Conner. The NFL reports that he will miss the remainder of the season due to this foot injury, which requires surgery. This is even a bigger blow considering the team’s 28th-ranked pass offense thus far. After losing to their in-division foe, the San Francisco 49ers, they can ill afford another divisional loss. Their two wins have been against bottom-of-the-barrel competition, and they will need to perform against stiffer competition before being taken seriously.

Seahawks NFL TNF Preview

The Seahawks have been a pleasant surprise so far, surpassing expectations on both sides of the ball. They’ve scored more points than any in-division team, while boasting the second-ranked scoring defense. The questions around the overhauled offense have disappeared. Running back Kenneth Walker has three touchdowns in three games, while quarterback Sam Darnold has thrown for four.

NFL TNF Prediction

The Cardinals will need to play a perfect game and get a couple of lucky bounces if they have any chance in this one. The Seattle defense should keep the banged-up Arizona team in check, while their offense feasts on the 23rd-ranked defense. This game has blowout written all over it.

End Of My NFL Rant

The Seahawks may be last in the NFC West heading into Week Four, but they have the best point differential of the four. They will expose the Cardinals as the softest 2-1 squad. Bodog has Seattle at -2.0 on the spread, and you could tease that for extra value.
