Week 1 was certainly insane. The first edition of this article went 2/6, and that’s okay. This week’s edition of the NFL Week 2 parlay brew will learn what was missed and move on to the next six-pack. All this series needs is one hit or 5/6 cash out to have a massive return on investment. All of the takeaways of the first week of football have been noted and are ready to be put to use for the gambling community.

Bills V Jets: Justin Fields +140

Justin Fields had the New York Jets offense looking like the most dangerous version we’ve seen in a decade. Garrett Wilson has a clear stranglehold on the top target share, Breece Hall looks like he did pre-injury, and this offensive line can win the battle at the line of scrimmage.
The NYJ signal caller has had seven rushing touchdowns in his last seven starts; over those starts, he is averaging at least 10 rushing attempts. Last season, with a worse offensive line, Fields had 289 yards and five touchdowns in the red zone alone.
Last week, the Bills got shredded by Lamar Jackson on the ground; their linebackers had trouble with mobile QBs. Our Stadium Rant Index projects Fields for .51 of a touchdown, giving bettors some value vs the book.
Jaguars V Bengals: Brenton Strange +330

Brenton Strange is going up against a Bengals defense that allowed 15 targets to the Browns’ tight ends, highlighting the weakness of Cincinnati’s defense. The middle of the field is vulnerable, and Trevor Lawrence seems to trust Strange. After logging just under an 80% snap rate and catching all of his four targets, expect his targets to increase each week as he rewards the coaching staff and Lawrence with production.
There are many similarities between the Tucker Kraft breakout spot on Thursday night and Brenton Strange on this Sunday early window matchup. Everyone on a bad defense is focused on the talented receivers, and the tight end is the biggest producer of the team. This is one of the bigger lines to add that beef to the parlay, can’t get +196914 odds by playing it safe.
Seahawks V Steelers: DK Metcalf +150

Revenge is a dish best served in the endzone. DK Metcalf had shown ample production to earn himself a new contract, and instead, Seattle sent him off to Pittsburgh, who went on to acquire Aaron Rodgers. Calvin Austin isn’t going to be catching touchdowns every week, and DK doesn’t have to deal with Sauce Gardner, allowing him to play with more freedom.
Ricky Pearsall was able to put up 107 yards on this Seattle defense that has yet to find itself. Look for Rodgers to establish chemistry with Metcalf in a game that will clearly matter to the WR. He’s exploded for multiple scores before; don’t be surprised if it’s this week against the people that rejected him. The plus money line is too juicy to pass up in this spot.
Cardinals V Panthers: James Conner -155

James Conner started off his season in the end zone against the Saints. Even with a shaky performance, he still had 16 touches. Now that the Panthers are coming to Arizona, he has a chance to hit paydirt in his own stadium. According to the Fantasy Rant Index, he is projected to score .85 of a touchdown.
Conner is poised to bounce back against a much more forgiving front seven. Jacksonville was able to rip off five explosive runs (10+) and 199 total rushing yards against the Panthers; every parlay needs some safe legs, although they didn’t give up the rushing touchdown to a running back. Brian Thomas Jr took a jet sweep to the house. Look for Arizona to “establish it” and work to dominate this game, giving Conner a great script to score.
Chiefs V Eagles: Patrick Mahomes +425

Patrick Mahomes has to have his Superman cape on at all times this year if the Chiefs are going to want to stay in the Super Bowl hunt. The Eagles look like nothing has changed and are ready to go to Kansas City and open a can of whoop-a**. The former MVP is going into this game coming off a divisional loss in primetime with his two best pass catchers injured, an unsettled offensive line, a 35-year-old Travis Kelce, and a 7th-round draft pick at running back.
His scrambling will be essential for this team to be able to hang in the game. Mahomes may feel like he can only trust himself since he’s tremendous with his legs, its his calling card to break the oppositions back with that rushing ability. This is one of the biggest games of the season, and he has Juju & Hollywood as his top wideouts. Great Eagles pressure and less chemistry with these weapons has this +430 line too juicy to pass up.
Eagles V Chiefs: Jalen Hurts -125

Las Vegas should be pricing Jalen Hurts’ touchdown odds similarly to Derrick Henry; Unlike the scariest skill player in the NFL, the Philly signal caller is the only player on offense guaranteed to touch the ball. His best skill set is using his mobility to move the ball up and down the field. Hurts’ strength is also an underrated part of his game that gives him all the opportunities with the tush push.
Dallas Goedert is expected to miss this game. Taking away the quarterback’s middle of the field mismatch makes it even more likely he is going to pull the ball down and run. His touchdown could be a product of the “brotherly shove”, a designed run (not on the goal line), or a scramble. The Fantasy Rant Index still has an edge with .69 of a touchdown scored at -125.
End Of My NFL Week 2 Parlay Rant
The six-pack has been purchased. If all of them go down, no issue; we can all pocket a little under $ 2,000. Mahomes and Strange are the wild-card value boosters. Justin Fields & Jalen Hurts are elite options at the QB position each week. DK Metcalf’s spiteful torching of the Seahawks makes total sense. James Conner is forever. Hopefully, we can crack that ticket like the next cold one.
