It’s natural for all NFL organizations to have ups and downs. For the upcoming 2025-26 regular season, three teams stand out as the biggest losers and will have the most significant drop in wins from the previous seasons. These top losers consist of a team in a rebuilding phase and a team that always finds its way to the bottom.

No. 1 NFL Loser – Indianapolis Colts To Go 3-14 (-6 Wins)

The Indianapolis Colts are predicted to take the most significant step back in the upcoming 2025-26 regular season. After bailing on quarterback Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco, Flacco is now set to become a free agent. They did go back to the former fourth-round pick after a month of Flacco, but his season was a disappointment, throwing eight touchdowns to twelve interceptions. Ranking 29th overall last season, the Indianapolis defense may be more of a concern than the offense. It will be difficult for the Colts to find an instant game-changer with their 14th overall pick in the upcoming draft.

No. 2 NFL Loser – Seattle Seahawks To Go 4-13 (-5 Wins)

The Seahawks were underwhelming last season, missing the playoffs with a 10-7 record. Since then, the team has been in disarray. After releasing wide receiver Tyler Lockett, a ten-year veteran who has not played for another team, WR D.K. Metcalf has requested a trade. It may be impossible to bring in two new receivers with the same output for the upcoming season. The quarterback room will also be interesting. Seattle has even traded their quarterback, Geno Smith, for a third-round draft pick to the Las Vegas Raiders. There is nothing official yet, but there are rumors that Seattle may be interested in quarterback Sam Darnold.

No. 3 NFL Loser – New York Jets To Go 1-15 (-4 Wins)

With quarterback Tyrod Taylor currently atop the depth chart, expect the Jets to regress. Taylor is a 35-year-old journeyman who has only surpassed 1,000 yards passing once since 2017. They need, at minimum, one more top-two receiver to pair with Garrett Wilson. The elite defense they leaned on will see turnover, with ten of the top 16 snap leaders on defense poised to hit free agency. New York will look to free agency and the draft to fill numerous holes, but when the NFLPA gives ownership a failing grade, top-end free agents will be difficult to sign.

End Of My NFL Biggest Wins Drop Rant

The most respectable team of the three, the Seahawks, is in a more natural decline. The Jets won only five games with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams, and an elite defense. They are losing all those pieces, and it’s hard to imagine their replacements being more talented. The Colts have been struggling for relevancy since the surprise retirement of quarterback Andrew Luck and seem to have missed drafting the right QB.
