Miami, Cleveland, and Philadelphia would all be really good/great basketball teams with LeBron. They would all look different and have different team builds and styles, but they would be legit contenders.
That being said, the Cavs have a major James Harden playoff question mark, and the Sixers have a major Embiid health and too many guys question mark. The major question mark in Miami would be: Do they need more shooting? Well, they can go get more shooting. I’m also very high on him playing on a league-best defensive team and being able to have his hand on the joystick of an offense. He remains the biggest name available during the 2026 NBA Free Agency period.
Regardless of where LeBron lands, his free agency decision will reshape the NBA championship race. Cleveland offers the emotional reunion, Miami provides the cleanest basketball fit, Philadelphia offers superstar talent, Minnesota presents upside, while Golden State delivers one final legendary pairing with Curry.
