The one thing Kentucky lacked last season was toughness and Physical presence. With the addition of Mo Dioubate, the Wildcats will have a roster fit to contend with the best in the SEC.

He ranked fifth in the SEC in defensive rebounding and excelled at cleaning up the glass. In the first matchup against Kentucky this past season, Dioubate held Otega Oweh to only two points. Kentucky needed more physicality on their roster, and it was clear with the signings of Dioubate and Jayden Quaintance.

Dioubate averaged 7.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in just 16 minutes of play for Alabama last season. His shooting was particularly impressive, hitting 46.2% from three-point range.
This skill aligns perfectly with Mark Pope’s offensive style, which emphasizes shooting efficiency and spacing on the floor. Dioubate’s ability to stretch the floor will be a great asset to Kentucky’s game plan next season.
Dioubate had his biggest game of the year against Vanderbilt, where he put up a season-high 22 points on an impressive 6-of-9 shooting from the field.
In addition to his scoring, he also contributed 10 rebounds, showcasing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the court. This performance highlights his potential to be a key player for Kentucky next season.
