The End Of My Kenny Brooks Recruiting Rant
Top-five 2027 five-star basketball prospects, Caroline Bradley and Haylen Avers, recently visited Kenny Brooks and the Kentucky women’s basketball program. They were among several highly rated recruits who visited Lexington in October 2025 for the program’s annual Big Blue Madness event.
Additional details about their visit:
- Caroline Bradley: Ranked as a top-five recruit in the class of 2027, Bradley is a highly sought-after 6-foot-5 center. She also took unofficial visits to Notre Dame and LSU around the same time.
- Haylen Avers: A five-star guard in the 2027 class, Avers is another elite recruit being pursued by the Wildcats. Social media posts from committed Kentucky players indicate that they are actively recruiting Avers to join them in Lexington.

Kenny Brooks has quickly established himself as a recruiting force by tapping into the Kentucky basketball culture and fan base. Selling that basketball is the lifeblood of the Big Blue Nation and the university’s commitment with an 82 million dollar renovation of Memorial Coliseum. He has successfully shifted the program’s narrative to become a top recruiting destination by leveraging his reputation for player development, building a family atmosphere, and winning on the floor and in top-tier recruiting battles.
