Jadon Sancho was unlucky during his time at Manchester United. The winger’s bad luck continued as Chelsea refused to make his loan deal permanent. Now, he has a chance to say goodbye to England and find a new home for himself.
Becoming An Outcast
Despite his talent, Sancho has become an outcast at Manchester United. It seems like Ruben Amorim isn’t exactly keen on keeping him.
The winger might’ve hoped to find a new home for himself at Chelsea, but this wasn’t the case. During his loan deal, he managed to score five goals and register 10 assists, but that wasn’t enough for the club to keep him.
Chelsea wasn’t interested at all in paying the fee for Sancho and making him stay. Instead, they chose to pay a €6m ($6.4 million) penalty fee so that the club won’t have to buy him. It is reported that the club is eyeing other options, and Sancho isn’t one of them.
Sancho Finding A New Team
The 25-year-old’s bad luck seems to be coming to an end soon. According to journalist Orazio Accomand, a deal is close to happening and fans might see Sancho joining Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
The Turkish side is ready to present a €18m ($19.3 million) offer to win the winger’s services. He’s open to the idea of moving to Turkey, especially since they are ready to pay him a generous salary.
Accomand also reported that Fenerbahce plans to give Sancho €12m ($12.9 million) per season. The contract will last for three years with a one-year option.
Interest From Elsewhere
The winger has plenty of other teams that are very interested in signing him, two of them being Juventus and Napoli, but they aren’t too appealing to him.
Fenerbahce is his number one choice, especially because of the wages they are ready to pay. This is more than enough to make the 25-year-old head to Turkey.
End Of My Jadon Sancho Rant
Unfortunately, Sancho will have to leave Manchester United, but this is to be expected as he won’t gain any playing time while there. It just doesn’t make much sense for a young player like him would choose Fenerbahce over big names like Napoli and Juventus. Not everything is about money.
