Jade Cargill has not held a championship in WWE since WrestleMania 42, but the SmackDown women’s division keeps moving around her. On the Oct. 23 episode of SmackDown, B-Fab and Michin took the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley. Cargill set up the finish by punching Paxley from ringside while the referee was out of position. Since the spring, Cargill’s backstage attacks and ringside help for her allies have played a part in title matches across the brand.
How B-Fab And Michin Joined Cargill
Michin and B-Fab both lost singles matches to Cargill on SmackDown before the alliance formed. Rhea Ripley had earned a WrestleMania title shot against Cargill by winning the Elimination Chamber match. During a confrontation between the two on the March 20 SmackDown, Michin and B-Fab blocked Cargill’s exit, teased a fight, and then turned on Ripley. The three women attacked Ripley, and Cargill finished the assault with Jaded.
Michin and B-Fab beat Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green on the July 31 SmackDown. Cargill repeatedly attacked Stratton behind the referee’s back, and Michin scored the pin with the BTA. After the bell, Charlotte Flair charged the ring and teamed with Stratton and Green to brawl with all three.
Jade Cargill Has Been In The Middle Of The Biggest Women’s Title Matches
Cargill beat Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Nov. 1, 2025, to capture the WWE Women’s Championship. The reign lasted 169 days before Ripley took the title on Night Two of WrestleMania 42 on April 19. At Clash in Italy on May 31, Cargill fell short in the rematch after Flair interfered on Ripley’s behalf.
At Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Cargill challenged Stratton for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. Both allies got involved at ringside, and Michin shoved Stratton off the top rope. Green kept B-Fab and Michin busy, and a returning Flair struck Cargill with the title belt. Stratton then hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the pin.
With Ripley sidelined by a knee injury, the company crowned an interim WWE Women’s Champion in a five-woman ladder match on Night Two of SummerSlam on Aug. 2. Cargill, Flair, Green, Stratton, and Lash Legend competed. B-Fab and Michin stopped Green from reaching the belt, but Cargill and Flair traded blows on the ladder and fell together. Green climbed back up and pulled down the gold.
On the Sept. 18 SmackDown, Jacy Jayne beat Cargill and Bliss in a Triple Threat qualifier for the Money in the Bank ladder match. The defeat kept Cargill out of the field. Stratton later won the women’s briefcase at Money in the Bank on Oct. 10.
Charlotte Flair Has Been The Main Target
Cargill has gone after Flair repeatedly since late May. After Clash in Italy, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin ambushed Flair backstage. On the Aug. 7 SmackDown, Flair beat Cargill after Paxley took out B-Fab and Michin with a crossbody at ringside.
On the Sept. 4 SmackDown, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin attacked Flair, Paxley, and Bliss after a tag match. Fatal Influence joined in, then stepped aside and let Cargill’s group finish the job. Two days later at Sunday Night’s Main Event, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin beat Flair, Bliss, and Paxley in a six-woman tag match. The finish came when Cargill hit Flair with Jaded for the pin.
Flair was scheduled to team with Paxley in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on the Oct. 9 SmackDown. Cargill attacked Flair backstage before the bell, and Bliss took the open spot alongside Paxley. The new pairing beat Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid for the titles, then held them for 14 days.
End Of My Jade Cargill Rant
Cargill does not need a championship to run SmackDown. The tag titles changed hands because of her. Green climbed that SummerSlam ladder because Cargill and Flair could not stop swinging at each other long enough to grab the belt. Flair has spent five months checking over her shoulder in every hallway backstage.
Cargill has come up short in big matches this year, and the winners kept needing help. Stratton needed Flair and a title belt at Night of Champions. Flair needed Paxley in August, and Ripley needed Flair at Clash in Italy. A wrestler who has lost her place does not draw that kind of attention.
The next move belongs to WWE. B-Fab and Michin have the gold, and the work in the shadows is done. Cargill belongs back in the WWE Women’s Championship picture, and the woman pulling the strings should step into the light. Every major women’s story on the blue brand already runs through Cargill, and the top prize should follow.
