Howard was an eight-time NBA All-Star, three-time Defensive Player of the Year, five-time All-NBA First Team selection, and an NBA Champion in 2020. He was one of the most dominant centers of his era who changed games with his defense, rebounding, and power in the paint.

People really forgot how scary Prime Dwight was. He carried the Orlando Magic to the Finals in 2009 and was the only human who could actually challenge LeBron’s dominance in the Eastern Conference.

This is the end of an era. From the Superman dunk contest to dominating the paint for years, Howard’s cape might be hanging up, but the highlights are forever.

Howard is one of the most iconic centers in NBA history, whether Shaquille O’Neal likes it or not. Dwight’s impact goes far beyond the stats.

Howard’s retirement might leave fans in tears, but this is a good day for him. It is a good thing that he stopped before dragging it out too long. Superman’s legacy will always be remembered.

Dwight gave everyone so many iconic moments, from high-flying dunks to the championship run. Basketball will not be the same without him soaring on the court.
