He’s looking to strengthen their attack and views Gyokeres as a strong fit for his system—someone who can bring physicality and finishing ability to their front line.
Record also reports that Atlético Madrid is monitoring the situation closely. Despite already having Antoine Griezmann and Julián Álvarez, Atlético sees Gyokeres as a long-term option who can evolve under Diego Simeone’s system. His energy and pressing style would certainly complement Atlético’s traditional tactics.
While both Napoli and Atlético are appealing options, Arsenal remains the most attractive destination for Gyokeres. The Gunners reached the Champions League final and finished second in the Premier League. Their young core and exciting style of play make them one of the most promising clubs in Europe.
Gyokeres would get the opportunity to be the main man up front—something he might not enjoy in a rotation-heavy setup like Atlético or Napoli. With Arsenal’s current squad just a step away from major success, the addition of a striker like Gyokeres could be the final piece of the puzzle.
