The Chicago Bears 2025 season is quickly approaching and with training camp right around the corner, let’s make some bold predictions about their season.

Caleb Williams Becomes Teams First 4,000 Yard Passer

In over 100 years as an NFL franchise, the Bears have never had a 4,000-yard passer. They have gone through so many different quarterbacks over the years and have had a couple of guys come close. Jay Cutler was very close during his time with the Bears, missing the mark by a little less than 200 yards.

This year that record is finally going to be broken. Last season Caleb Williams threw for 3,541 yards in his first season as starting QB for the Bears. Williams could’ve broken the record without a rocky start to the season. This year Williams has acquired more weapons such as Colston Loveland and Luther Burden and an upgraded offensive line. Williams should have no problem passing that 4,000-yard mark in year two.

Chicago Bears Have Three 1,000 Yard Receivers

Running back Dj Moore

The Bears already had a very talented receiving corps in wide receivers DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, and Cole Kmet. In the 2025 NFL draft, they added to that by drafting Loveland in the first round and Burden in the second.

Moore is already a proven veteran who has many 1,000-yard seasons already. Odunze in year two is primed to take a big step in Ben Johnson’s offense. The two rookies the Bears drafted both have had very big seasons leading their respective teams in receiving yards in college. Burden had over 1200 yards in his sophomore season while at Missouri.

Chicago Bears Lead The League In Interceptions

Just two years ago, the Bears tied the league-high with 22 interceptions. The Bear’s defense since then has not changed that much, only the person calling plays. Dennis Allen is the Bear’s new defensive coordinator taking over for Matt Eberflus. Allen has plenty of experience and is known for being a very aggressive play-caller. He is known for running a lot of man coverage as well as using a lot of different blitz packages.

The Bears do have a very tough schedule ranking as the second hardest in the league. They face off against a plethora of playoff teams from last year. This Bears defense is still very capable of leading the league in interceptions, and with an increase in blitzing this year, they can easily achieve that. The Bears have one of the better secondaries in the league including Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon. The potential for this defense is there, it just needs to translate to the field.

The Chicago Bears Win 10 Games

Ben Johnson, Bears, Chicago

The Bears do have one of the more tougher schedules in the league this upcoming season. The opponents include their division rivals in the NFC North, the AFC North, and a couple of other playoff teams from a year ago. The Bears played their division rivals very well last year being a blocked field goal away from sweeping the Green Bay Packers. They also were very close to splitting with both the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.

If not for some coaching mistakes last year the Bears would have won at least a couple of more games than they did. With an improved coaching staff, the Bears doubled their win total from last year and hit double-digit wins for the first time since 2018.

Chicago Bears Make Playoffs As A Wildcard

The last time the Bears made the playoffs was 2020 when they lost in the first round to the New Orleans Saints. The roster that year was old and they were soon headed for a rebuild.

The Bears sneak into the playoffs this year as a wildcard team. The goal this year for this team should be to win now, the expectations are very high for this team. The roster has been built up well, all they needed was the right man to coach the team. Clinching a playoff berth this year would be huge for this team’s overall confidence.

End Of My Bears Bold Predictions Rant

The Bears have tons of potential and talent all over their roster. Ryan Poles went out and added a bunch of pieces this offseason to help out Williams. The expectations are very high for this team, and if that can translate to the field, the sky is the limit for this team.
