The fantasy football playoffs are in full swing, but that doesn’t mean opportunities to improve are gone. The trade deadline may have passed, but the chance to put in a claim on the waiver wire remains. Take a look at these intriguing targets ahead of week 16 of the fantasy football season.

Luther Burden

Luther Burden has finally begun seeing additional opportunities for the Chicago Bears. The rookie receiver now has five or more targets in five consecutive games. Rome Odunze, missing the last two games, has certainly helped Burden get going, but even with him in the lineup, he should continue seeing targets. It is an obvious plus for fantasy when Odunze misses time, but Burden will not be dependent on that.

Dalton Schultz

fantasy

Dalton Schultz has been a reliable option in fantasy for a majority of the season, yet he’s still rostered in less than 50% of fantasy leagues. He has finished as a top ten TE in six of the last nine weeks. The Houston Texans have been rolling lately, and Schultz is a significant part of their offensive success. A must roster in TE premium leagues, and a solid back-end TE1 in PPR leagues.

Parker Washington

fantasy

Parker Washington has benefited from the breakout of quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the lack of success from Brian Thomas Jr. The addition of Jakobi Meyers has not impacted Washington in a negative way, as he is still producing at a decent rate. He won’t be a plug-in start, but he could certainly be a solid flex if someone goes down later in the week.

Darius Slayton

fantasy

Darius Slayton is a steady producer who has seen opportunities but has yet to capitalise on them in a major way. He has three games with double-digit fantasy points in his last five games. He has a good floor with the potential to have a big day, considering his favorable matchup in the final two weeks of the season. He will be a good fantasy flex play in weeks 17 and 18 if he remains healthy.

Michael Carter

fantasy

Michael Carter looks to be heading towards a lead-back role for the Arizona Cardinals. Trey Benson was not activated from IR, ending his season. Bam Knight left Sunday’s game early due to an injury. Carter has two great matchups coming up against the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals. If Knight remains out, Carter will be a good RB2 in fantasy for weeks 16 and 17.

Brian Robinson Jr

fantasy
Nov 9, 2025; Santa Clara, California, USA; San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. (3) celebrates after a play during the third quarter against the Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Cary Edmondson-Imagn Images

Brian Robinson Jr is a must-add waiver wire target due to the San Francisco 49ers’ injury report, which recently featured Christian McCaffrey. His upside if McCaffrey misses time is incredible, immediately seeing him jump into RB1 range. Many fantasy players bailed seeing McCaffrey stay healthy, but they may have jumped ship too soon. If he is available, he’s a priority add this week.

End Of My Fantasy Rant

The waiver wire presents the best opportunity for improving your team at this stage of the fantasy football season. Don’t miss the chance to grab one of these targets ahead of your week 16 matchup.
