Fantasy football week eight is the week every player has been dreading. The bye weeks make it rough to form a formidable lineup in any fashion. These starts and sits should help make some of those crucial decisions a little easier.

Caleb Williams – Start

Caleb Williams has yet another great matchup this week against the scuffling Baltimore Ravens defense. He is coming off his worst fantasy outing of the season, but this is not the time to panic. His fantasy output has been tremendous in his first season under Ben Johnson, and this matchup should guarantee a start in fantasy.

Daniel Jones – Sit

Daniel Jones has been amazing in his first season after leaving the New York Giants, but this week is the time to pump the brakes. He faces the Tennessee Titans, who have been top ten against QBs in fantasy this season. This is likely going to be a blowout, leading to limited passing opportunities. A big game for the Indianapolis Colts’ running game, but Jones will have to ride the bench this week.

Tyrod Taylor – Stream

Tyrod Taylor will take over the starting job after Justin Fields was officially benched after a horrid start to his first year with the New York Jets. Taylor will have a chance to lead the Jets against a defense that has long struggled, the Cincinnati Bengals. This is a great opportunity for fantasy players in need of a player to fill in during a treacherous bye week.

Breece Hall – Start

Breece Hall is also going to benefit from facing the Bengals’ defense this week. He should see plenty of passing game opportunities, leaving him with a great floor in full PPR leagues. He hasn’t been performing up to par as of late, but this week, he should be in most fantasy lineups.

Rhamondre Stevenson – Sit

Rhamondre Stevenson is a fringe start every week, but if he’s in consideration for a start this week, think otherwise. The matchup against the Cleveland Browns couldn’t be much worse for a running back. The looming threat of Treyveon Henderson overtaking him as the starting RB also should be taken into account.

Kyle Monangai – Stream

Kyle Monangai is coming off the best game of his NFL career and was an intriguing waiver claim this week. He isn’t making a push for the starting job yet, but his volume has been increasing ever so slightly. Both Chicago Bears RBs have the benefit of facing the Ravens’ defense this week. Monangai is a touchdown-dependent play, but if desperate, he is a viable starter.

Devonta Smith – Start

Devonta Smith just posted the best performance of his career, and he has an opportunity to follow that up this week against the Giants. The Philadelphia Eagles have had a confusing passing game this season, making it rough for any starting receiver. Smith has been fairly consistent when it comes to targets, and with a favorable matchup, he should be in fantasy lineups.

Jaylen Waddle – Sit

Jaylen Waddle vaulted into the low WR1 or high WR2 range following the injury to Tyreek Hill, and has provided such stats so far. Despite this, his inconsistent quarterback play has to concern fantasy managers. Tua Tagovailoa has been about as bad as he possibly can be recently, and if that continues, it will certainly affect Waddle’s fantasy production. This week, the Miami Dolphins take on the Atlanta Falcons, who have a defense that any QB should fear. This is not the week to start Waddle unless absolutely necessary.

Marvin Mims Jr – Stream

Marvin Mims is in an interesting situation with the Denver Broncos. He’s a talented receiver with big play capabilities, but the Broncos’ passing game is just so inconsistent. This week, they face the horrid defense of the Dallas Cowboys. When looking for deep streamers, finding one with this matchup is key. Mims could have one big play against that defense and instantly be worthy of a start when needed.

Dallas Goedert – Start

Dallas Goedert against the Giants is the perfect matchup to start him. He had a huge fantasy day just two weeks ago when they faced off on Thursday night football. The Eagles haven’t been able to get the running game going this season, and with New York’s rough passing defense, they should prioritize moving the ball through the air. Goedert joins Smith as an Eagles pass catcher who should be started this week in fantasy.

Hunter Henry – Sit

Hunter Henry has been nothing but inconsistent, making it impossible to be confident while starting him. He’s facing a tough Browns defense this week, and if his season has proved anything, it’s that no one knows what’s going to happen. Could he go out and score 20? Sure! He could also leave Sunday with two targets and one reception. It’s really just too much of a risk.

Mason Taylor – Stream

Mason Taylor theoretically should be a target machine in the Jets offense without Garrett Wilson, but that has not yet been the case. With a new QB under center, hopefully that will change. Another good matchup for Taylor makes him the best TE to stream this week.

End Of My Fantasy Football Rant

This is the week every fantasy player has been dreading since the schedule was released. The week features six different byes across the league. These starts, sits, and streamers should help make tough decisions.
