The fantasy football waiver wire has always been the key to winning any league. If they are navigated properly, it’s the greatest asset in fantasy. These are some players to pick up as the season dwindles down.
Jalen Nailor

Jalen Nailor just had his best game of the 2025 season. He ended Sunday with five receptions for 124 yards, including a touchdown. This production will likely be limited to a one-game outburst, but with JJ McCarthy getting used to his options, Nailor is certainly one to monitor. If he can develop a relationship with his young QB, his role could expand in an offense filled with talented pass catchers.
Juwan Johnson

Juwan Johnson has cooled off after starting the season as the top TE in all of fantasy football. This cold streak led many fantasy managers to put him on waivers. With the New Orleans Saints QB change, the offense should be completely reevaluated. Johnson has picked up his play with Tyler Shough, and after seeing his potential through the first few weeks, he should be rostered.
Tyler Lockett

Tyler Lockett was the Las Vegas Raiders receiver who benefited from the moving pieces at the trade deadline. It was expected this opportunity would go to one of their rookies, Jack Bech or Dont’e Thornton, but the 11-year veteran was the one who stepped up. Either way, this being an offense with so few options apart from Brock Bowers, Lockett could easily find value in fantasy for the remainder of the season.
Treylon Burks

Treylon Burks saw some good opportunities in just his second game as a Washington Commander. This is certainly a move that would depend on the health of the other receivers in the room. Burks will have little to no value if Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel are both in the lineup. The intrigue comes when they aren’t healthy. If Burks is a primary option in the offense, he could provide a plug-in flex when desperate.
Kalif Raymond

Kalif Raymond has now seen consecutive games with three or more receptions. This Sunday, he had his best game of the season. This is somewhat notable, as Dan Campbell took over the play-calling duties for the Detroit Lions. He will not have any value in ten-man fantasy leagues, but he could be an option in deeper PPR leagues. For now, it is probably best for him to remain on waivers until the sample size increases.
Cade Otton

Cade Otton is becoming a reliable tight end in fantasy football. He is seeing consistent targets in a powerful Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense. He should definitely be rostered in all TE premium leagues, and he is becoming a viable play in normal PPR leagues as well. Otton is a high-floor play that should intrigue every fantasy manager without a top-tier TE.
End Of Fantasy Rant
It is once again another week of lackluster options on the waiver wire. A majority of these players won’t be worth losing a high spot in the waiver order, but could be added once everything is processed.
