During one of Mallorca’s recent training sessions, Pablo Maffeo was spotted celebrating Barcelona’s Supercopa de Espana win. The match ended with Barca beating Real Madrid 5-2 in a surprising result.
The anticipated Classico started with Barcelona trailing behind, as Real Madrid scored first. However, Barca’s fans didn’t have to worry for too long. The match events quickly changed, as they managed to come back and end the match with a win. The 5-2 result delighted Barcelona’s fans, while Real Madrid fans were left in disbelief.
Mallorca’s Pablo Maffeo was seen celebrating Barcelona’s Supercopa win during a training session. He was filmed smiling while raising the 5-2 result with his hands. The defender’s celebration comes after Mallorca’s clash against Real Madrid in the semi-final of the same cup.
During the game, Maffeo got into an altercation with Vinicius Junior. The clash was caught by cameras, as things got heated between the two. The argument didn’t come as a suprise since the two are known for their long rivalry. After the game, videos circulated of Jude Bellingham also arguing with Maffeo.
Cameras also caught Real Madrid’s star, Vinicius Junior, replying to Maffeo’s teasing. The Brazilian was seen saying “You’re terrible; you’re going home” to Maffeo. The match ended with Real beating Mallorca 3-0. The goals were scored by Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and an own goal by Martin Valjent.
After Barca ends their well-deserved celebrations, the team will be back on track. Hansi Flick’s side will have to refocus on upcoming matches, as they hope to get good results. After the Supercopa win, Flick earned himself the title of never losing a final. All finals played by the manager ended in a win for his side.
