Barcelona might have been lucky in their comeback against Celta Vigo. Their luck, however, seemed to have run out as Hansi Flick had to sub off Robert Lewandowski after he picked up an injury.
Barcelona’s Insane Comeback
Lewandowski’s injury came during a match that could only be described as insane. After being down, the team managed to turn things around and claim the win.
It was nerve-wracking in a way, as the winning goal came at the very end of the match. The team, however, was hit with Lewandowski’s injury.
Lewandowski Getting Injured
The joy of winning the game was put on hold for some fans as Lewandowski was taken off at the 78th minute due to an injury. The striker was then replaced with Gavi.
As he fell down, Lewandowski was seen clutching his left hamstring, which could be worrying to the club.
According to Yahoo Sports, Flick told reporters, “Lewandowski will have an MRI tomorrow. We have to wait for the results. Then we’ll know more about his injury.”
Barcelona Might Benefit
It is not okay to wish ill on someone, but maybe there is some chance that Lewandowski’s absence will be a welcome change.
The striker has been crucial to the club in some games, but that doesn’t erase the fact that he wastes a lot of chances.
Not to mention that many fans believe that the striker is way too slow for Barcelona’s tempo with Flick. So now that he is sidelined, there is a possibility that Barcelona might do well despite this injury.

The Race Is On
With the Celta Vigo win, there is a seven-point difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid. It was a very important win for the team, especially considering the difficulty of the match.
The upcoming matches will reveal whether Lewandowski’s injury is a blessing or a curse.
End Of My Barcelona Rant
Barcelona has been one of the best clubs in the world this season. They have a chance to write history with Flick if they keep the good performances going.
