From a defensive standpoint, the Falcons have a talented young pass rush with an improved secondary. This game could really go either way, with no team having the advantage at the moment. The Browns’ young receiving core should have a good opportunity to make some noise in this game. AJ and Avieon Terrell headline the Falcons secondary, with two solid safeties behind them. The recipe for success in this game is winning on the defensive side and keeping Stefanski’s offense in check.

The final game of the regular season could come with many implications for both teams. The playoffs could be on the line, with this game potentially deciding who gets in. Unlikely, but a division title could also be on the line. What makes this game intriguing for the Browns is whether this is the last time Deshaun Watson is in a Browns uniform. You could say the same for many players on this roster, including Myles Garrett. Recently, the Browns haven’t had much success in Cincinnati, losing three of the last four years there.
Joe Burrow has made life hard for the Browns’ defense, connecting with his All-Pro receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Garrett always shows up versus the Bengals, making history by breaking the sack record in Week 18 last season. Much of the roster was hurt or checked out for the season when the two teams faced off in Week 18, raising the question if that will be the case this upcoming year.
A matchup that contains two teams who have fallen short of expectations the past couple of years, will look to get back to the postseason in 2026.
On paper, this schedule should give Browns fans a lot of hope and excitement for next season. Building off their five-win season in 2025, the team improved in many areas of need.
