Tyreek Hill has been ramping up for a return to the NFL after suffering a brutal leg injury last season with the Miami Dolphins. He is expected to sign with a team at some point this season, but the timing is a complete unknown. Here are the landing spots that make the most sense when Hill makes his final decision.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are the obvious choice for Hill and his return to the NFL. A return to the team that drafted him all those years ago has been rumored all offseason and would make sense once he is ready to suit up again. The Chiefs aren’t exactly desperate to bring him in, but their receiver room could certainly use another talented veteran.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have always gone for these types of signings. Think of Davante Adams and Odell Beckham. It doesn’t matter if they necessarily need to add another receiver, but they clearly aren’t scared to add talent when the opportunity presents itself. Hill lining up next to Adams and Puka Nacua with Matthew Stafford at QB would be a terrifying offense for defenses to game plan for.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders make a ton of sense if Hill isn’t getting a ton of interest from more competitive teams in his return. He could help Fernando Mendoza get situated in the NFL by giving him a true number one receiver. They have the positional need and organizational fit for Hill.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills have continuously tried to add a true number one receiver for Josh Allen, but they haven’t been able to successfully do so. They added DJ Moore in the offseason in a trade with the Chicago Bears, but it appears he suffered an injury in the Thursday Night Football game against the Detroit Lions. The extent is unknown, but it didn’t look very good.

If Moore misses significant time, they will need to pursue a WR in free agency or via trade. Hill is the obvious choice for them to reach out to immediately. This is all based on the health of each player; If Moore is healthy, then it isn’t needed, and if Hill isn’t ready to go, then the Bills will need to look in a different direction.
