The Fever vs Sky prediction for Sunday comes down to something that most people won’t notice and the league cannot explain: Indiana has to play again less than 24 hours after a 109-102 loss to New York, while Chicago enters this game, well rested and riding a three-game winning streak.yl
Caitlin Clark just dropped a 21 piece on Saturday, Kelsey Mitchell had 25 and Aliyah Boston added another 22 points. Indiana still couldn’t finish its comeback after tying New York at 100 late in the fourth quarter.
Now they have another road game.
Don’t get nervous, I still expect Indiana to win, but this game looks far more dangerous than a 24-14 team facing a 15-22 opponent normally would.
Prediction: Fever 91, Sky 87
Best Bet: Fever -3.5 Or Better If Available
Best Player Prop: Caitlin Clark Over 7.5 Assists If Available

Indiana won the previous meeting 90-86 in Chicago on Aug. 8.
The betting market should be checked again Sunday morning. The spread, juice and player props can move significantly before tipoff, so the numbers below are betting targets we are aiming at. No reason to chase a worse line.

Indiana’s Back-To-Back Changes This Fever Vs Sky Prediction
Indiana’s 24-14 record compared with Chicago’s 15-22 mark makes this matchup look pretty straightforward and an easy prediction.
Believe me when I tell you, it’s not.
The Fever just spent Saturday night fighting a war with New York before losing 109-102. Clark, Mitchell and Boston combined for 68 points, and Indiana tied the game at 100 before New York pulled away.
Now Indiana travels to Chicago to finish a stretch of five road games in eight days.
Chicago gets the complete opposite setup coming into this game.
The Sky were off Saturday and enter Sunday on a three-game winning streak after beating Seattle, New York and Golden State.
The Fever are the better team.
Chicago may have the better situation.
That scheduling difference is the biggest reason I refuse to lay a large spread with Indiana here.
Best Bet: Fever -3.5 Or Better
I’m still willing to back Indiana, but the price matters more than usual in this game.
Clark gives the Fever the most dangerous creator on the floor. Mitchell can and will absolutely punish Chicago when they give too much defensive attention toward Clark. Also, Boston prevents the Sky from building their entire defensive plan around Indiana’s guards.
The Fever already went into Chicago this month and won 90-86.
That four-point margin is close to where I have Sunday’s game landing.
My projected score is Fever 91, Sky 87.
That makes -3.5 playable.
If Indiana is -3.5 or shorter Sunday morning, I like it.
At -4 to -5, the value becomes thinner.
At -5.5 or higher, I’m definitely out. We missed the window at this number.
The biggest mistake here would be recognizing Indiana as the better team and then paying a bad number for a favorite playing its fifth road game in eight days.
Best Bet: Fever -3.5 Or Better

Best Caitlin Clark Prop: Over 7.5 Assists
Clark’s assists looks much more appealing to me than her scoring total Sunday.
She enters the matchup averaging 8.3 assists per game, but the matchup with Chicago makes the number more interesting.
Clark recorded 10 assists against the Sky in the first meeting between these teams and followed that with 11 in the Aug. 8 victory.
That’s 21 assists in two games against Chicago.
The Sky know exactly where Indiana’s offense starts. They can blitz Clark, throw extra bodies or force the ball out of her hands.
Watching her play these past few years gives me enough confidence to say that does not necessarily neutralize her.
It will only create passing opportunities for her.
Mitchell is capable of carrying stretches offensively, and Boston just scored 22 points against New York. Clark doesn’t need another huge scoring night for Indiana’s offense to work.
The back-to-back matters here, too. If tired legs affect Clark’s shooting, facilitating becomes even more important.
My target is Clark Over 7.5 assists. At 8.5, the price matters. At 9.5, I’m passing but will not be shocked to see her end with 10+.
Chicago Is Playing Better Than Its Record
Chicago’s 15-22 record is very real. So is what has happened over the past week.
The Sky beat Seattle 82-80, knocked off New York 93-86 and then survived Golden State 73-70 on Friday.
Chicago also gave Indiana a run for their money when these teams met Aug. 8. The Fever barely escaped with a four-point victory.
That game also produced one of the more controversial moments of the recent Fever-Sky rivalry. Stadium Rant previously covered the DiJonai Carrington flagrant foul on Sophie Cunningham and the fallout surrounding the play.
Now the Sky get another shot at Indiana, this time against a Fever team coming directly off a difficult game in New York.
Chicago is rested. Chicago is home. Chicago is playing with confidence. That could be enough to make this game competitive. It still isn’t enough for me to pick the Sky outright.

| Clark Assists | Over 8.5 | Price Dependent |

The exact spread, juice and Clark assist line should be updated Sunday morning once the market is fully populated.
Final Fever Vs Sky Prediction
There are legitimate reasons to consider Chicago.
The Sky are rested, at home and playing their best basketball that we seen in weeks from them. Indiana just spent Saturday night fighting through a difficult game in New York and now has to turn around for another road matchup.
That is exactly why I refuse to chase the Fever if this spread climbs to high.
Still, Indiana has the better offensive talent.
Clark remains the best creator on the floor. Mitchell gives the Fever another scorer Chicago has to respect, and Boston provides an interior option when defenses become too aggressive on the perimeter.
Chicago should hang around in this game. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a one-possession game deep into the fourth quarter. Eventually, Indiana’s shot creation should be enough to get this win.
Final Score Prediction: Fever 91, Sky 87
Best Bet: Fever -3.5 Or Better If Available
Best Player Prop: Caitlin Clark Over 7.5 Assists If Available
