At the St Andrews Old Course, the 17th Road Hole is the most famous and entertaining of holes. The Old Course is one of the best venues for the UK Open, and the 17th hole is the course’s signature hole. This hole includes the Road Hole Bunker, which is an extremely deep sand pit. Precise tee shots over a corner of the Old Course Hotel are also required on this hole. All this makes it one of the most entertaining holes on the PGA Tour.
Pebble Beach is also a great course and has staged six US Open golf championships. It is a course with magnificent scenery and some enthralling holes. Among the most exciting on this golf course is its short par-three hole, which has a green next to the ocean surrounded by bunkers. The eighth hole at Pebble Beach is also another of the course’s highlights, with the Pacific coastline along the right side of the hole. Both holes are among the PGA’s most entertaining.
The 16th hole at the Stadium Course is another of the PGA Tour’s most entertaining holes. This par three hole is surrounded by grandstands, and with large crowds, there are plenty of cheers around this flag. Woods famously aced this hole, which raised the roof from the grandstands. Many consider the 16th Stadium Course hole to be among the most exciting in the sport.
