The WrestleMania 41 card has been updated since the April 8, 2025, release of blunders. WWE added plenty of intrigue heading into the event, but there is an updated list of booking mistakes. From wasting a champion to ruining a moniker, it’s never perfect.

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso Loses Moniker

Whether fans think he’s entertaining or a spot monkey, Jey Uso was a hot singles star for weeks. WWE is booking a babyface underdog tale, but he has failed to insert any depth into the story, causing it to feel forced and lopsided. They tried to capitalize on a flash in the pan, but realized there was more sizzle than steak.

The company is quick to push its ‘Yeet’ catchphrase. Buy the merch and support the underdog, but please forget he was called main event material. It took Gunther leaving his brother in a bloody mess to put some intrigue on Uso’s side of the story.

It seems they are pot committed, and it’s common for a champion to drop the title at WrestleMania, then take time off. The first couple of months after Uso becomes champion will be telling. Can he carry the singles division, or is the weight too much? Plenty of viable alternatives exist, so he’d best learn something to add to the superkick to put on a singles classic.

Having A Singles Champion In A Tag Match At WrestleMania

Bayley is teaming with the WWE Women’s Intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania. They will challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. This is wrong in many ways.

How are they not showcasing the new championship? This is the first WrestleMania since it was introduced, and Valkyria has proven the ability to have a physical and entertaining match. The women’s tag division is relatively weak, which could be an opportunity to raise another tag team to another level. A women’s intercontinental match at WrestleMania could also help elevate a singles star.

End Of My WrestleMania Rant

Jey Uso may be partially to blame, but WWE pushed him harder than they should have. Valkria in a tag match, however, is an abomination. Uso will likely win the title, have a boring babyface run, and drop it to a real heavyweight or a returning Gunther.
