On Monday, WWE superstar and Women’s World Champion Naomi announced that she was forced to relinquish her title due to pregnancy. Here are three suitable replacements who would make great champions in Naomi’s absence.

Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer is the fan favorite pick here and is likely the favorite in general. The rising star has quickly ascended the ranks on Monday Night Raw and become a legit contender for the championship.

WWE may opt to have Vaquer win the title in a more prestigious way, rather than have her win it through a relinquishment. Having a temporary champion that could lead up to a big win for Vaquer may be the way to go, and here are a few options if WWE goes that route.

Bayley

Bayley would be a fantastic short-term champion, and it would bring more credibility to the star who hasn’t held a world championship in over a year. The title could bring more attention to her new character, which has recently been teased.

Bayley has been heading towards a heel turn according to her recent vignettes, and could look to continue the heel champion trend after Naomi. These things combined would give her a fresh look and make for an interesting story in the RAW women’s division.

Iyo Sky

Iyo Sky was expected to have a championship match on RAW before Naomi was unexpectedly pulled from the match. Sky was the champion at the time when Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and captured the title.

Sky would be a perfect transition champion if WWE does not want to put the title on Vaquer yet. This could lead to a big-time title match down the road where Vaquer would deservedly get her championship moment.

End Of My WWE Rant

Naomi was well on her way to having a fantastic championship run, but now that it has been cut short, WWE has to move on quickly. The best way to do it would be to crown Vaquer at Clash In Paris later this month.

Sky would make a great transitional champion and give Vaquer a massive superstar to take the belt off of. Bayley could rejuvenate her career and become a main eventer once again with a character change and a championship victory.
