The Philadelphia Eagles have done a tremendous job improving the roster this offseason despite being out in some tough situations. They have built some impressive depth and have put the team in a better position than they were in entering the offseason. With that being said, there is still some work to do. Here are three moves Howie Roseman should make before week one of the 2026 NFL season.

Sign Brandon Graham

Brandon Graham will be an Eagle in 2026 if he wants to continue his NFL career. He already “retired” before the 2025 season before rejoining the team for nine games last year.

Graham is 38 now, but that shouldn’t deter Philadelphia from bringing back the franchise great. The main question regarding this move would be the timing of it. Does Graham want to plan an entire season, or will he sign the contract in the middle of the season, similar to last year?

Sign Zach Ertz

Zach Ertz was recently fully cleared to play following an injury that ended his 2025 campaign. The veteran TE coming back to Philadelphia would be a poetic ending to his NFL career.

Ertz has continued to be a reliable TE throughout his career, never having more than six drops in a season. He has proven to be one of the best receiving options from the TE position. Ertz had 116 receptions and 1,158 receiving yards during his two seasons with the Washington Commanders.

The Eagles have to seriously consider adding a receiving option behind Dallas Goedert before the season begins. Rookie Eli Stowers has not looked great in preseason and camp, and he would be the next man up if Goedert is injured. Ertz would give another veteran for Stowers to learn from while taking on some responsibility in the short term.

Trade For Keon Coleman

Keon Coleman would be the perfect trade target for Howie Roseman and the Eagles ahead of the 2026 season. He would bring size to the WR room that they are severely lacking.

Coleman, standing at 6’4, would be the only receiver on the roster above 6’1 (excluding Johnny Wilson). This would play a major role in the team’s redzone offense.

The departure of AJ Brown left about 30% of their redzone target shares up in the air. Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon will eat into some of that, but they won’t be able to take all of that responsibility. Bringing in Coleman would help out the redzone offense while giving them another young receiver with potential.

End Of My Philadelphia Eagles Rant

The Eagles still have some moves to make if they want to make another push to become Super Bowl Champions. These are three moves that would fill out their roster and give them a better chance at making a push.
