The 18-year-old’s elite skating, hockey IQ, and playmaking ability have drawn comparisons to some of the NHL’s premier offensive stars.
For Toronto, adding a player with McKenna’s superstar ceiling would inject much-needed youth into an organization that has spent years trying to maximize its championship window.
