It’s hard to believe NFL Week 7 is already here, but with an exciting season in full swing, it’s flying by. The undefeated teams are starting to thin out, while one winless team looks to change its fortunes. Here is a full preview of NFL Week 7, with picks and score predictions.
New England Patriots (4-2) @ Chicago Bears (4-2)
The Patriots are officially back, coming off a three-game win streak. Drake Maye has thrown for 10 touchdowns and one interception in that span, and New England has outscored those opponents 100-62.
Caleb Williams made his return to Chicago in Week 6, and he was lights out. He went 30/36 for 305 yards and a touchdown. The Bears’ offense found success in both the run game and the pass game.
Williams and Maye are the first and third overall picks from the 2024 NFL Draft. New England has suffered from multiple injuries to the roster, and that may slow them down in this NFL Week 7 matchup.
Score Prediction: Bears 34 – Patriots 28
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) Vs. New Orleans Saints (2-4)

The New York Giants struggled to exploit the Saints’ poor run defense. New Orleans nearly gave up a 24-point lead late in the game after taking its foot off the gas. This team is still building something great, but even after a win, it’s not overly threatening yet.
The Steelers are on a two-game winning streak after an overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Aaron Rodgers has thrown five touchdowns and one interception in that span, and Pittsburgh finally looks like a tough opponent.
Score Prediction: Steelers 27 – Saints 24
San Francisco 49ers (6-0) @ Atlanta Falcons (2-4)
The Falcons are an almost good enough team right now. Two of their four losses came within one score while both of their wins came in dominant fashion. Bijan Robinson opens every possibility for them, but they’re facing a mountain in NFL Week 7.
The 49ers are one of three undefeated teams in the NFL. Brock Purdy is making a strong case for NFL MVP with his stellar play and league-leading 14 touchdowns. Even with injuries to players like Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, and Nick Bosa, this team is simply among the league’s best.
Score Prediction: 49ers 31 – Falcons 23
Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-2)

The Bengals went into their bye week with a victory over the Miami Dolphins. The offense has scored at least 30 points in three games, and at least 20 in the other two. The defense is still struggling, ranking 20th in total yards allowed per game (344.2).
The Ravens’ success in this divisional matchup hinges heavily on Lamar Jackson. The two-time MVP has been sidelined for two weeks with an ankle injury. If he returns on Sunday, this is a true toss-up. If he’s not 100%, it’s hard to see Baltimore keeping up with Joe Burrow.
Score Prediction: Bengals 30 – Ravens 27
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5) @ Carolina Panthers (3-2)
The Buccaneers followed up their win over the Dallas Cowboys with a 26-19 overtime loss to the Steelers. With Baker Mayfield hoping to return, they have a shot to bounce back with a win against a Panthers defense that ranks 25th in total yards allowed per game (354.2).
Carolina has been on a hot streak with Bryce Young under center. The fourth-year QB finally looks like the player he was expected to be. They’re leading the NFC South ahead of a rivalry matchup, and this is an important game to stay on top of the division.
Score Prediction: Panthers 34 – Buccaneers 28
New York Giants (3-2-1) @ Houston Texans (2-4)

The Giants continued their trend of being incredibly frustrating on a weekly basis. Jameis Winston may be back on the bench after J.J. McCarthy’s 243-yard performance in the fourth quarter. The former Minnesota Vikings QB might be New York’s best option. Regardless of who’s under center, this is an unenviable matchup.
The Texans are heating up after a two-game win streak. C.J. Stroud looks like his 2023 self, throwing for nine touchdowns and one interception in six weeks. His play and the defense are finally finding wins, and this is a perfect chance to continue that.
Score Prediction: Texans 27 – Giants 20
Indianapolis Colts (2-4) @ Minnesota Vikings (5-0)
The Colts are at rock bottom after losing to the previously 0-5 Tennessee Titans. Daniel Jones has been underwhelming, and general manager Chris Ballard was officially fired. A reset is imminent, and this season is only going to get tougher.
The Vikings are fresh off a bye week at 5-0. Defensive coordinator Brian Flores has displayed a masterclass, and NFL Week 7 will be no different. Minnesota may not score a ton of points, but it knows how to torment quarterbacks.
Score Prediction: Vikings 17 – Colts 13
Miami Dolphins (0-5) @ New York Jets (2-4)

The Jets are a surprisingly tough team, with all three of their four losses coming within one score. This is not a threatening team, but it’s no longer the doormat it seemed to be a year ago.
Speaking of doormats, the Dolphins are the definition of it. Granted, they’ve faced a gauntlet of tough opponents, and they have the youngest roster in the NFL. Coming out of a much-needed bye week, they’ll be looking to find some competence. If there’s ever a game for that to happen, it’s this one.
Score Prediction: Dolphins 17 – Jets 14
Cleveland Browns (4-2) @ Tennessee Titans (1-5)
It’s odd to say the Browns are the lock of the week, but they just might be. They’re coming off a win over the Ravens where they scored 13 unanswered points. Deshaun Watson’s play is leveling out, but the defense is tied for seventh in points allowed per game (20.3).
The Titans won their first game of the year over the Colts thanks to a 20-point fourth-quarter surge. That seems to be more of an indictment on Indy than anything. Tennessee is still far from competitive.
Score Prediction: Browns 24 – Titans 17
Denver Broncos (4-2) @ Arizona Cardinals (2-4)

The Broncos had 10 days to rest before this matchup following a 17-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Bo Nix has faced criticism all season for his play under center, but Denver is winning games.
The Cardinals are riding high on a win over the Los Angeles Rams, and rightfully so. The expected Super Bowl favorites have fallen to earth, and Arizona’s win is a large part of that. This could be a strangely competitive game, but Denver is the overall better team.
Score Prediction: Broncos 23 – Cardinals 20
Green Bay Packers (4-2) @ Detroit Lions (3-2)
The Lions are coming off a bye week after a 45-21 win over the Cardinals. They’ve scored at least 30 points in four of their five games, but the defense has allowed a league-high 404.4 total yards per game.
A three-game winning streak has given the Packers their confidence back. They defeated the Bears and the Cowboys, and the defense is finally picking up, even without Micah Parsons. A few weeks ago this would’ve been an easy pick, but Green Bay has muddied the waters in the NFC North.
Score Prediction: Packers 31 – Lions 30
Los Angeles Rams (2-4) @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-3)

How far the Rams have fallen in a matter of weeks is astonishing. They’re dead last in the NFC West standings, and in need of a bounce back. Los Angeles is now without Myles Garrett and Davante Adams heading into a must-win game.
The Raiders are on a three-game losing streak after a 3-0 start. With losses to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Patriots, and the Buffalo Bills, their downward trend may continue. Regardless of the outcome, they’ll keep this closer than it should be.
Score Prediction: Rams 27 – Raiders 24
Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-3)
Since leaving the Seahawks to sign with the Chiefs, running back Kenneth Walker has been a superstar. He leads the league with 665 rushing yards, averaging 133 per game. He seems to be the missing piece they needed, as they’re now undefeated, facing off against the reigning Super Bowl champions.
The Seahawks haven’t shown the same dominance they did in 2025. The offense ranks 18th in rush yards per game (107.2) and 16th in pass yards per game (225). Luckily, the defense ranks first in total yards allowed per game (237.3).
This has “Walker revenge game” written all over it. Sam Darnold has been lackluster since he returned from his hip injury. The Seahawks will likely struggle to keep up with “K9”.
Score Prediction: Chiefs 27 – Seahawks 23
Dallas Cowboys (2-4) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-4)

The Eagles are now without Jalen Hurts for the season. If Week 6 was any indication, it’s that the offense will fall apart without him. The offense managed just 35 rush yards with Dameon Pierce as the lead back, and backup QB Tanner McKee went 26/45 for 215 yards and a touchdown.
The Cowboys are facing fewer injury problems, but their defense is still abysmal. They rank last in rush yards allowed per game (149.8), and 25th in points allowed per game (26.5).
What could have been a showdown of NFC East titans is now a disappointing matchup. Neither team is reaching expectations, but only one has the caveat of an injury-riddled roster.
Score Prediction: Cowboys 31 – Eagles 20
Bye Week: Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders
End Of My NFL Week 7 Rant
The 2026 NFL season has been full of surprises. The Browns lead the AFC North, the Vikings are undefeated, and the Rams are seemingly the worst team in the NFC West. NFL Week 7 will continue to surprise and thrill fans with a potentially high-scoring slate of games.
