The unpredictable and exciting 2026 NFL season is hitting its stride coming out of Week 5. Three teams are still undefeated, while three others are winless. With another big slate ahead, who will come out of NFL Week 6 with a victory?

Seattle Seahawks (3-2) @ Denver Broncos (3-2)

Back in August, this game was expected to be a potential Super Bowl preview. The Seahawks are coming off a tough loss to the San Francisco 49ers, while the Broncos just bounced back against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Denver has continued its trend of waking up late in games, scoring 13 of its 23 points in the fourth quarter last week. Seattle has struggled on offense, with Sam Darnold being sacked five times and throwing two interceptions.

This will still certainly be a great matchup, but neither team is where they’d like to be five weeks in. Seattle’s defense has the potential to put Denver in a hole early, one that may be too deep to climb out of.

Score Prediction: Seahawks 23 – Broncos 20

Houston Texans (1-4) Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1)

The Texans finally won a game. To be fair, it was against the winless Tennessee Titans, but at this point, momentum matters. They traded for wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and are looking to find a spark now. They’re in for a tall task in Week 6.

A miraculous game-winning field goal propelled the Jaguars to a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. It wasn’t Jacksonville’s best game, but the job got done. They’re a legitimate contender heading into NFL Week 6. Division games are messy, but one team is clearly better than the other.

Score Prediction: Jaguars 27 – Texans 21

Chicago Bears (3-2) @ Atlanta Falcons (2-3)

The Falcons took the Tyler Huntley-led Baltimore Ravens to overtime in Week 5. They took the fight to Baltimore’s secondary until backup QB Tua Tagovailoa threw a game-ending interception. This team is tougher than its record suggests; it just hasn’t fully translated to success.

The Bears suffered a 31-7 beatdown at the hands of division rival Green Bay Packers. They’re hopeful that QB Caleb Williams will return from a strained hamstring. If he doesn’t, the Falcons just lost to a backup QB; it’s not unreasonable to think it’ll happen again.

Score Prediction: Bears 31 – Falcons 24

Baltimore Ravens (4-1) @ Cleveland Browns (3-2)

The Browns seemingly returned to their old ways in a 17-12 loss to the New York Jets. The offense lost two of its five fumbles, and Deshaun Watson was sacked eight times.

The Ravens may still be without two-time MVP Lamar Jackson under center. They pulled off a win with Huntley in the lineup, albeit a hard-fought one. With or without their star QB, Baltimore should capitalize on Cleveland’s low momentum.

Score Prediction: Ravens 21 – Browns 17

Tennessee Titans (0-5) @ Indianapolis Colts (2-3)

The Titans are undoubtedly one of the worst teams in the NFL. They’ve been outscored 109-58 in five matchups and have yet to exceed 20 points in a single game. Most recently, their 26-3 loss was their worst of the season.

The Colts had their run game shut down by the Pittsburgh Steelers, effectively silencing the offense as a whole. Jonathan Taylor managed 45 yards on 15 carries while the defense allowed Jaylen Warren to rack up 101 yards on the same number of totes.

The Colts still mustered up 22 points in their Week 5 loss, which is more than the Titans can say all year. Save for a messy division fluke, Indy should bounce back here.

Score Prediction: Colts 28 – Titans 17

New York Jets (2-3) @ New England Patriots (3-2)

The Jets are 2-3 and coming off a gritty victory over the Browns. They’re a competitive team, but similar to the Falcons, it hasn’t fully translated. This is still a squad with low expectations and a difficult matchup on Sunday.

The Patriots are seemingly back to their winning ways. They’re coming off back-to-back victories over the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders, and Drake Maye looks like himself again. After a 45-17 victory on Sunday, momentum is fully in their favor.

Score Prediction: Patriots 37 – Jets 20

New Orleans Saints (1-4) @ New York Giants (3-1-1)

The Giants are still on top of the NFC East after a mind-boggling tie with the Washington Commanders. The Jameis Winston experience is in full effect, leaving this team extremely unpredictable. They’re finding ways to stay in games, but it’s not sustainable.

The Saints’ high-powered offense is fun to watch; it’s just not leading to wins. Tyler Shough had arguably his worst career game last week, going 16/25 for 96 yards and two interceptions.

The Giants’ luck will wear out sooner or later, and the Saints desperately need a bounce back. This will be another close game, but New York might not be able to keep up.

Score Prediction: Saints 24 – Giants 20

Carolina Panthers (2-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-3)

The Panthers are coming off their bye week after an incredible showing in Week 4. They defeated the Detroit Lions 32-26 in a game that saw Tetairoa McMillan log 14 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles are on a three-game losing streak after starting the season 2-0. Injuries are piling up at nearly every position, and the offense has completely stalled out. With Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith still on the shelf, it’s hard to see them keeping up with Carolina.

Score Prediction: Panthers 27 – Eagles 24

Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-4)

The Buccaneers earned their first win of the season over a disappointing Dallas Cowboys. Rookie UDFA Jalon Daniels took advantage of one of the NFL’s worst defenses, and Dallas couldn’t answer back.

The Steelers are 3-2 with a +2-point differential. Three of their five games have been decided by seven points or less, and the offense is wildly inconsistent. Despite their flaws, they have a stronger upside than Tampa Bay, and that should be enough to get the win.

Score Prediction: Steelers 31 – Buccaneers 23

Arizona Cardinals (1-4) @ Los Angeles Rams (2-3)

The Cardinals started the year hot with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Since then, they’ve gone on a four-game losing streak and are seemingly getting worse every week. They’re going up against a Super Bowl favorite in need of a win.

The Rams are coming off a disappointing overtime loss to the Bills on Monday Night Football. A disheartening loss followed by a bounce-back win seems to be their trend this season, and Week 6 looks to be a continuation of that trend.

Score Prediction: Rams 38 – Cardinals 20

Los Angeles Chargers (0-5) @ Kansas City Chiefs (4-0)

If it weren’t for the messiness of division matchups, this would be the lock of the week. The Chiefs are undefeated, coming out of a bye week, and facing off with a winless opponent. What could go wrong?

The Chargers’ offense continues to look completely lost on a weekly basis. Justin Herbert has been sacked 17 times in five games and thrown seven interceptions (tied for league-leading).

Los Angeles kept its meeting with the Broncos within six points. The Chiefs could see a negative effect from the bye week. Kansas City should come away with this, but anything’s possible.

Score Prediction: Chiefs 28 – Chargers 24

Buffalo Bills (4-1) @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-2)

The Bills are coming off a razor-thin victory over the Rams on Monday night. Josh Allen was 0-7 in career overtime games, and that demon is conquered. Despite a dud of a loss in Week 4, Buffalo is a juggernaut in 2026.

The Raiders have been on a downward trend after a 3-0 start. They lost a close game to the Chiefs, then were dominated 45-17 by the Patriots. Between this week and the following meeting with the Rams, their hot start is quickly cooling off.

Score Prediction: Bills 34 – Raiders 27

Dallas Cowboys (2-3) @ Green Bay Packers (3-2)

The Packers’ offense finally came alive in a 31-7 win over the Bears, where Jordan Love went 25/31 for 367 yards and two touchdowns. Despite a less-than-stellar rushing attack, they’re 3-2 and facing an even worse defense than last week.

The Cowboys hit a low point in the 2026 season when they handed the Buccaneers their first win. Their defense ranks 31st in total yards allowed per game (295.4), 32nd in rush yards allowed per game (168.4), and 25th in points allowed per game (27.2).

Sunday night will be a perfect chance for Green Bay to capitalize on its momentum. Its own defense may struggle to keep up, but Dallas seemingly can’t stop a nosebleed.

Score Prediction: Packers 37 – Cowboys 34

Washington Commanders (1-3-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (5-0)

The lock of the week comes on Monday night in Week 6. The 49ers are an unstoppable force in 2026. The defense ranks third in points allowed per game (18.6), and Brock Purdy is leading the NFL with 13 touchdown passes.

The Commanders’ lone win came in what now seems to be a Week 3 fluke over the Seahawks. Their overtime miscue against the Giants will be talked about for years, and Dan Quinn’s seat is quickly heating up.

Score Prediction: 49ers 31 – Commanders 23

Bye Week: Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings

End Of My NFL Week 6 Rant

With four teams on a bye this week, the slate of games is shorter, but extremely interesting. We have six rivalry games, teams looking for their first win, and some looking to avoid their first loss. NFL Week 6 is set to be another roller coaster, and that’s what this league is all about.
