Heading into NFL Week 4, the 2026 season is shaping up to be another roller coaster ride. We’re officially in October, and this is when teams start heating up. Here are my official picks and score predictions for every game in NFL Week 4.
Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) @ Cleveland Browns (2-1)
The Steelers are coming off a nail-biting 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Their offense finally looked the way we expected, but the defense struggled against Joe Burrow and Co.
The Browns have been a surprisingly winning team three weeks into the season. They have, however, defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers. The two teams combine for a 1-5 record thus far. This will be a tougher task for them, but they’ll keep it close.
Score Prediction: Steelers 21- Browns 17
Indianapolis Colts (1-2) Vs. Washington Commanders (1-2)

The Colts finally won a game in America for the first time since Week 8 of the 2025 season. They defeated the winless Houston Texans, but Daniel Jones seems to be returning to form.
The Commanders won a thriller over the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in Week 3. The defense, however, allowed Sam Darnold to throw for four touchdowns while taking away two interceptions. The backup QB magic may not carry over in Week 4.
Score Prediction: Colts 35- Commanders 27
Tennessee Titans (0-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (2-1)
The Titans are making a case for the worst team in the NFL after a 12-7 loss to the New York Giants. If not for a late touchdown score, they would’ve been shut out by backup QB Jameis Winston. It’s hard to put much faith in this team at the moment.
The Ravens had their fanbase holding their breath in Week 3 with a seven-second drive to kick a game-winning field goal. They’ve exceeded 30 points in two of their three games. The Titans have scored 37 total points in that span.
Score Prediction: Ravens 31- Titans 13
New England Patriots (1-2) @ Buffalo Bills (3-0)

After a concerning start against the Los Angeles Chargers, Josh Allen and the Bills rallied for a 24-16 win. James Cook rushed for 154 yards and one score, tearing through LA’s defense. It was an ugly win, but they’re still undefeated.
The Patriots are experiencing a massive Super Bowl hangover. Drake Maye is leading the NFL with six interceptions and has only thrown one touchdown pass. A division win against Buffalo wouldn’t be surprising, but this iteration of New England is on a downhill slide.
Score Prediction: Bills 30- Patriots 23
New York Jets (1-2) @ Chicago Bears (2-1)
Bears fans breathed a sigh of relief during third-string QB Case Keenum’s dismantling of the Philadelphia Eagles. It was another case of backup QB magic, and the most impressive of Week 3. Chicago may turn to second-string QB Tyson Bagent now that he’s cleared concussion protocol.
The Jets have been a frisky and fun 1-2 team, keeping games close with the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions. Their NFC North gauntlet continues in NFL Week 4, and it won’t be any easier.
Score Prediction: Bears 24- Jets 17
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) @ Cincinnati Bengals (2-1)

The Jaguars have scored 82 points in three weeks, with 69 of them coming in the first and third weeks. They’re facing a defense that just allowed 30 points from Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers.
The Bengals’ offense is still impressive, which isn’t surprising. The defense has shown improvements but faltered in Week 3. Jacksonville hasn’t allowed more than 20 points in a game, and only 16 total in two of them. If this comes down to a shootout, Cincy won’t force enough stops.
Score Prediction: Jaguars 38- Bengals 34
Dallas Cowboys (1-2) @ Houston Texans (0-3)
The Cowboys are much better than their 1-2 record suggests. They’re 12th in the NFL in pass yards per game (236), but their issues lie in the defense. They have a perfect matchup to recalibrate.
The Texans have scored a combined 23 points in the last two weeks, both being losses. The defense ranks 26th in pass yards allowed per game (238.7) and 19th in points allowed per game (25). Their offense can’t go blow for blow with Dallas.
Score Prediction: Cowboys 28- Texans 17
Arizona Cardinals (1-2) @ New York Giants (2-1)

The Cardinals exceeded expectations in a 36-30 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. They’ve allowed 67 points over the last two weeks while scoring 37 and rank 17th in pass yards per game (210)
The Giants’ secondary, save for Jevon Holland, has been an eyesore over the last two weeks. They rank 20th in pass yards allowed per game (231), but ninth in points allowed per game (18.3). Without Brian Burns in the defensive front, they’ll likely allow Jacoby Brissett to throw for another 200+ yards.
Score Prediction: Cardinals 24- Giants 17
Los Angeles Rams (1-2) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-1)
The Rams are coming off a disheartening loss to the Denver Broncos but are hopeful that Puka Nacua will be back on Sunday. They’re second in the league in pass yards per game (268.1), and they’ve been without their best weapon for 2 of their three games.
The Eagles allowed a third-string QB to throw for 247 yards and two touchdowns on Monday night. Their offensive line is still concerning, and they have a -14 point differential despite a winning record.
Score Prediction: Rams 27- Eagles 24
Green Bay Packers (1-2) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3)

The Packers have been a massive disappointment in 2026. They have a -35-point differential and have yet to exceed 22 points in a game. That could start trending upward with a favorable matchup.
The Buccaneers are 0-3. They rank 26th in pass yards per game (185), 24th in rush yards per game (94.3), and above all else, are without Baker Mayfield. Rookie UDFA Jalon Daniels will get his first NFL start against a team that desperately needs a bounce back.
Score Prediction: Packers 21- Buccaneers 10
Miami Dolphins (0-3) @ Minnesota Vikings (3-0)
Lock of the week. The Vikings’ defense ranks second in points allowed per game (13.7), and the Dolphins have yet to exceed 13 points in each of their three losses. Now without Devon Achane, Miami’s offense will get significantly worse.
Score Prediction: Vikings 17- Dolphins 6
Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) @ Las Vegas Raiders (3-0)

The undefeated Raiders are arguably the biggest surprise of the 2026 season. They have a +34-point differential despite ranking 19th in total yards per game (311.7). The return of Brock Bowers last week was extremely beneficial, as he had 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs currently rank fifth in the NFL in rushing yards per game (153.3) behind Kenneth Walker III. They’ve scored over 30 points in two of their three games, and they have a +38-point differential. Someone will lose their first game of the year, and Kansas City is more proven.
Score Prediction: Chiefs 27- Raiders 23
Los Angeles Chargers (0-3) @ Seattle Seahawks (2-1)
The Chargers finally showed some life early on against the Bills last week. Losing by eight points, scoring 16, and allowing 24 are all season bests for them, which says a lot about where they are. This team is disappointing and continues along a murderer’s row of opponents.
The Seahawks fell to the Commanders in Week 3. It was Sam Darnold’s first game under center since an early Week 1 injury. They also struggled to run the ball, totaling just 44 yards on the ground.
Now that Darnold has shaken off the rust, the Seahawks should return to their dominant form. This could be a trap game, but LA hasn’t given its fans much hope to believe that.
Score Prediction: Seahawks 24- Chargers 14
Denver Broncos (2-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (3-0)

The Broncos continued their trend of winning despite not playing four full quarters of strong football. They were down 16-0 against the Rams at halftime and pulled out a 30-26 win. They’re a late-game team, but that has bitten them before.
The 49ers are undefeated, and for good reason. They’re averaging 32.6 points per game. Brock Purdy leads the NFL in passer rating (133.1), touchdown percentage (10.8%), and is tied with Kirk Cousins with a league-leading nine touchdown passes.
Score Prediction: 49ers 31- Broncos 28
Detroit Lions (2-1) @ Carolina Panthers (1-2)
The Lions have been a frustrating team to watch in 2026. Their defense is dead last in points allowed per game (31.7) and pass yards allowed per game (299.3). The offense is performing well despite that, scoring 31 points in each of its three games.
The Panthers are coming off a 21-18 loss to the Browns and are looking to bounce back in Week 4. Their defense allows a league-worst 193.3 rushing yards per game. They’re facing Jahmyr Gibbs, who averages 102.3 rushing yards per game, and leads the league in first downs (23).
Score Prediction: Lions 34- Panthers 27
Atlanta Falcons (1-2) @ New Orleans Saints (1-2)

The Falcons looked like a completely different team with Michael Penix Jr. back under center. He went 18/25 for 256 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a 35-14 win over the Packers. Bijan Robinson was the engine, though, rushing for 194 yards and finding the end zone twice.
The Saints’ pass-heavy offense has been exciting to watch, but it isn’t sustainable. They rank 16th in the NFL in rushing yards (304) and have only scored twice on the ground. While New Orleans’ offense needs more balance, the Falcons have allowed 263 pass yards per game, 29th in the NFL.
Score Prediction: Saints 31- Falcons 24
End Of My NFL Week 4 Rant
The 2025 NFL season was unpredictable and exciting all the way through the postseason. 2026 is shaping up to be a similar story. Whether it’s a contending team or a winless one, winning games gets more important every week.
