Wide receivers are the most exciting part of an NFL offense. Without elite pass-catchers, any team can plummet down the NFL power rankings. Who are the best wide receivers in the league heading into 2026?

10. George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys

The reason George Pickens is not higher on this list is a matter of consistency. He put up career highs in receptions (93), yards (1,429), and touchdowns (nine) in 2025. After being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers, he showed he can be a WR1 in the NFL.

The question now is if Pickens can do it again. CeeDee Lamb struggled with injuries, appearing in only 14 games last season. He went from 152 targets in 2024 to 117 in 2025. This led to Pickens seeing 137 targets, another career high for him.

If Lamb is fully healthy, he’ll undoubtedly see his targets increase. From 2022-2024, he never saw fewer than 150 passes thrown his way. As good as Pickens is, Lamb is Dak Prescott’s number one guy.

9. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

Chris Olave is another wide receiver who saw career highs across the board in 2025. He recorded 100 receptions for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. He appeared in 16 games, the most in his career, as well.

Olave’s production is due to many factors. Aside from simply being on the field, he had an upgrade in rookie QB Tyler Shough. The Saints drafted Arizona State standout Jordyn Tyson in April as well, giving Olave a true WR2.

Tyson is set to miss the start of the season with a hamstring injury. Olave will see the bulk of the targets, similar to 2025. Once the rookie is back, that may change, but the Ohio State product is Shough’s best weapon regardless.

8. Malik Nabers, New York Giants

To justify Malik Nabers on a top 10 list, you just need to look at his 2024 stats. In his rookie year, he recorded 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. When he’s healthy, he’s one of the most explosive wide receivers in the NFL.

Nabers went down with a torn ACL in Week 4 of the 2025 season. That also happened to be Jaxson Dart’s first game as the Giants‘ starting QB. In their limited time, they connected on two passes for 20 yards.

Nabers is back at practice and seems on track for a Week 1 return. With a full offseason together to establish chemistry, he and Dart could become an extremely dangerous duo in 2026.

7. Nico Collins, Houston Texans

Nico Collins has had three straight 1,000-yard seasons in the NFL. After his first two years, the Texans drafted Ohio State QB CJ Stroud, and the Michigan wide receiver was off to the races.

Despite Collins’ impressive stats, he has yet to play a full NFL season. Even when Stroud’s play is questionable, his WR1 is ripping defenses to shreds. With Tank Dell returning to the lineup, Collins has his old running buddy on the other side of the field again.

Stroud is playing for a new contract in 2026. He’ll want to re-establish himself as the premier QB who won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2023. In order to do that, he’ll look to his best weapon in Collins.

6. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

I mentioned CeeDee Lamb earlier, and there’s a reason why he’s Prescott’s favorite target. He has 7,416 receiving yards throughout his six-year career, and averages 13 yards per reception.

Lamb ended 2025 with 75 receptions for 1,077 yards and three touchdowns. He has been Prescott’s safety blanket since he entered the league, and that will undoubtedly continue. He’s looking for a bounce-back in 2026, and barring any more injuries, he’ll get it.

5. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Heading into the top five receivers in these NFL power rankings, we have Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Lions’ receiver has been a staple of their offense through his five-year career. In 2025, he hauled in 117 receptions for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns.

St. Brown is a target machine in Detroit. Over the last four years, he’s recorded at least 106 catches, and he was targeted at least 140 times each season. He’s one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL with extremely reliable hands. Defensive coordinators have nightmares about this man.

4. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

The breakout season of Jaxon Smith-Njigba was three years in the making, and it finally happened in 2025. He recorded career highs in targets (163), receptions (119), yards (1,793), and touchdowns (10). He wrapped up the season with an NFL Offensive Player of the Year award and a Super Bowl win.

Seattle’s former OC Klint Kubiak is now the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. It’ll be interesting to see if Smith-Njigba’s elevation was due to the system or QB Sam Darnold joining the team.

Regardless of reason, Smith-Njigba proved he can be a dominant receiver in the NFL. The Seahawks are deploying a rookie running back in Jadarian Price and will likely turn to the pass game while he develops. Expect another big year out of the reigning OPOY.

3. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

Puka Nacua was instrumental in QB Matthew Stafford’s 2025 NFL MVP campaign. He recorded career highs in targets (166), receptions (129, also led the NFL), yards (1,715), and touchdowns (10).

The reason for Nacua being above Smith-Njigba is that he’s done this over a longer stretch. In 2023, he recorded 1,486 yards and six scores. 2024 saw him miss several games to injury, but even in 11 starts he recorded 990 yards and three touchdowns.

Nacua averages 95.3 receiving yards per game, leading all NFL receivers. He had a 70.5% success rate in 2025 as well. The Rams’ offense is arguably the best in the NFL, and he may be the biggest reason for that.

2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

Every year there is debate over who is the best receiver in the NFL. Every year Justin Jefferson is in that conversation. The Vikings’ star receiver has never fallen below 1,000 receiving yards in a season, and in 2024 he tied his career high of 10 touchdowns.

Jefferson gets discredited for his career-low numbers in 2025. He recorded 1,048 yards and two touchdowns. It’s no secret he wasn’t working with the strongest QB room. JJ McCarthy, Carson Wentz, and Max Brosmer all started games for Minnesota last year.

Kyler Murray is the starter in Minnesota this year. While he’s not exactly a top QB, he’s an upgrade for Jefferson. Don’t let a weak season fool you, Jettas is still an elite receiver, behind only one man.

1. Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

Was there ever a doubt? Ja’Marr Chase has been a force to be reckoned with throughout his five-year career with the Bengals. He’s hauled in 520 receptions for 6,837 yards and 54 touchdowns. In 2024, he won the triple crown with his league-leading 127 catches, 1,708 yards, and 17 scores.

Whether it was Joe Burrow, Joe Flacco, or Jake Browning under center in 2025, Chase was dominant. He ended the season with 125 catches for 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns. Burrow only appeared in eight games last season, leaving the rest to the backups.

There’s an argument for Jefferson, Nacua, and Smith-Njigba to top the NFL power rankings. The numbers speak for themselves, though. Chase is on top of the mountain until someone knocks him off.

End Of My NFL Power Rankings Rant

The NFL is loaded with terrific wide receivers, some of whom narrowly missed this list. Drake London, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith are worth noting, while guys like Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka are on the rise.

With incoming rookies like Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, and Makai Lemon, the landscape of weapons is always evolving. Who will make the list when the season ends?
