The 2026 MLB All-Star rosters have been released. This is a recap of all the bats who got their name called.
Catcher – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers gets the nod to backstop the American League. Langeliers has a commendable .822 OPS through 80 games and is on pace for a career-best 40 home runs. Combined with elite pop time and a quick exchange, he’s been a glimmer of light for fans.

The National League counters with Atlanta Braves catcher Drake Baldwin. Before an injury in May, Baldwin caught the attention of fans with a blazing start of 13 HRs and a .932 OPS. He’s yet to find the same force since his return, but a massive amount of fan support has sent the second-year major leaguer to the All-Star Game.
First Base – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. elected not to play in the game, which gives the Athletics their second All-Star. Nick Kurtz is having the far superior season anyway. This MLB sophomore has a whopping .927 OPS through 324 AB, and is another reason for the team’s emergence this season.

The Los Angeles Dodgers send Freddie Freeman to represent first base. The 36-year-old has been a steady hand for the team, posting his best OPS in four years through 88 games. The 2007 second-round draft pick is finding old form on what has to be the last couple of holes in his career.
Second Base – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
The Blue Jays certainly have a worthy representative at second base in Ernie Clement. In seasons with more than 50 major league appearances, Clement is exceeding any previous performance. Through 87 games in 2026, he has a career-high .293 AVG, and he’s added 22 doubles with his contact-hitting.

The Braves continue to represent the National League with second baseman Ozzie Albies. The veteran has regained fans’ attention with a bounce-back campaign. In a tight race with Pittsburgh Pirates Brandon Lowe and Washington Nationals Luis Garcia, Albies edged it out largely thanks to the fan vote.
Third Base – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
The Tampa Bay Rays make an appearance at third base with Junior Caminero. Breaking into the majors last year for his full season, Caminero earned his keep with 46 bombs and a .264 AVG. The 23-year-old is on pace for an even better campaign, with a .561 SLG and 95 hits through 87 games.
The National League continues to be represented by two teams in this article; this time, it’s the Dodgers’ third baseman, Max Muncy. The veteran is having his best statistical year in most categories since the 2021 season. He also leads all qualified NL third basemen in home runs (17), slugging percentage (.511), and OPS (.873).
Shortstop – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
A bright spot on a dark Kansas City Royals season has been shortstop Bobby Whitt Jr. The 26-year-old is around par for his career average in most statistical categories, which has been All-Star caliber from the jump. This year, Whitt boasts a .826 OPS, 30 stolen bases, and 95 hits through 329 AB.

It took four seasons, but Washington Nationals shortstop CJ Abrams has gone from good to great. His OPS this season is .111 points above his MLB career average, while he also used his speed to steal 14 bases through 87 games.
Outfielder No. 1 – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
The Los Angeles Angels make their first appearance, with outfielder Mike Trout. A perennial All-Star and MVP-caliber talent, Trout is having his best season since 2022. This 34-year-old veteran is also on pace for the most walks in a year, with 66 through 74 games.

The Philadelphia Phillies have a representative in the All-Star Game, outfielder Brandon Marsh. This bearded legend is beyond his respectable MLB career averages for most stats. Improving against left-handed pitching, Marsh boasts an .849 OPS through 86 games. He paired 15 jacks with an equal number of doubles in that same period.
Outfielder No. 2 – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
Say hello to the Minnesota Twins, who enter the conversation with outfielder Byron Buxton – one of the most dangerous overall players in MLB. Buxton has smashed 25 homers through 76 games, while swiping seven bags and accounting for a .271 AVG.

Outfielder Juan Soto might be the only reason to buy a New York Mets ticket this season. He’s slightly outperforming most of his MLB averages, which are nearly untouchable as is.
Outfielder No. 3 – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
What’s an American League All-Star team without New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge? With a relatively down year, Judge still has numbers to dream of. Injuries have limited him to 59 games as of the morning of July 7, 2026, but he’s hanging on strong with 17 jacks in that span.

The National League rounds out its starting outfielders with the Dodgers’ Andy Pages, who’s combining above-average offensive output with high-end defense. Pages ranks in the 95th percentile in outs above average while boasting a .803 OPS through 90 games.
Designated Hitter – 2026 MLB All-Star Rosters
Better late than never, the Houston Astros DH Yordan Alvarez filled out the American League starting bats. Alvarez is arguably the best bat in MLB right now and is having a career year. He’s got an astronomical 1.066 OPS over 90 games this season.

The National League features the Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani at DH. A permanent All-Star and MVP candidate, Ohtani is having a relatively down year. That said, any team would take a bat with a .926 OPS in the lineup.
