The 2025 NFL season has been a whirlwind of emotions for all 32 fanbases, and it’s only been three weeks. Football season is in full swing, the weather is changing, and we’re entering a special time of year. Week 4 is set to have some huge matchups, so who wins?

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals

The Seahawks laid a beating on the New Orleans Saints last week, winning 44-13. Sam Darnold seems back to his Minnesota ways, and the 12th man is currently 2-1.

The Cardinals struggled to light up the scoreboard against the San Francisco 49ers. They lost in a 16-15 effort, but still sit at 2-1. Now, without James Conner, Arizona’s run game will take a hit. The Seahawks are proving to be a tough team to beat. It’s hard to bet against them here.

Winner: Seattle Seahawks

Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers

The 2-1 Steelers have been struggling on both sides of the ball. The offense isn’t exciting, while the defense hasn’t caught up to its usual dominance. This team has two wins, but could easily have been 0-3 right now.

The Vikings were a force to be reckoned with against the Cincinnati Bengals. They dropped 48 points with two scores from Carson Wentz, two rushing scores, and two defensive scores. They dominated a struggling Bengals team; they should be able to take care of the Steelers’ less-than-stellar offense.

Winner: Minnesota Vikings

Washington Commanders @ Atlanta Falcons

Washington Commanders

The Falcons’ offense might be among the worst in the NFL. They failed to put up a single point in a 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers. They don’t have a reliable kicker, and their young QB is in danger of losing his starting job. They have Bijan Robinson, though, so that’s a plus… right?

It doesn’t matter who the Commanders start at QB; this is a good football team. They bounced back from a tough loss with a 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Jayden Daniels may or may not be back for this game, but it honestly doesn’t matter. The Commanders should walk away with this one.

Winner: Washington Commanders

New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills

The Bills are Super Bowl contenders while the Saints are contending for a top-five Draft pick. If New Orleans somehow pulls off a win here, it’ll be the biggest upset of the season. Josh Allen should be able to win this in his sleep.

Winner: Buffalo Bills

Cleveland Browns @ Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs celebrates a touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens with wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and the offensive line during the first half at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025.

The Lions just beat the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in impressive fashion. After dropping a combined 90 points across the last two weeks, Detroit is back to its winning ways.

The Browns are not a team to take lightly. Their defense is surprisingly strong, and they just managed to beat the Green Bay Packers. It’s always possible that Cleveland makes things interesting, but there’s no real reason to doubt the Lions this week.

Winner: Detroit Lions

Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud
Houston Texans quarterback CJ. Stroud (7) looks on before an NFL football matchup at EverBank Stadium, Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, in Jacksonville, Fla. The Jaguars defeated the Texans 17-10.

A month ago, this game would’ve felt like the easiest pick of the week. Now, both teams are 0-3 and desperately fighting to stay afloat. The 2025 Titans are similar to the 2024 New England Patriots. They have their QB, but they’re a long way away from long-term success.

The Texans are a massive disappointment in 2025. With a loaded defense and a QB like CJ Stroud, their struggles are becoming head-scratching. I’m picking the Texans to bounce back this week, but I don’t feel great about it.

Winner: Houston Texans

Carolina Panthers @ New England Patriots

New England Patriots

The Panthers just blew out the Falcons, but don’t be fooled, this is still a bad football team. Carolina is struggling to find an identity, and Bryce Young isn’t exactly living up to the expectations of a first-overall pick.

The Patriots need to protect the football. They gave away five turnovers in a 21-14 loss to the Steelers. Discipline is everything, and Mike Vrabel might need to glue the ball to his players’ hands at this point. If New England can avoid turnovers, it can win this one.

Winner: New England Patriots

Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Giants

Los Angeles Chargers

Who’s ready to throw some darts? The Giants have announced rookie QB Jaxson Dart will be taking over the starting role on Sunday. This team has been horrible through the first three weeks, and this is a much-needed change.

New York’s schedule is a gauntlet, and the Chargers are the next team to hit the ring. The Bolts are 3-0, firmly in control of their division, and have the talent to make a Super Bowl run. Dart has a bright future, but he’ll be off to a rough start here.

Winner: Los Angeles Chargers

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Philadelphia Eagles
Sep 21, 2025; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) reacts against the Los Angeles Rams during the second half at Lincoln Financial Field. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

The Buccaneers might be the most exciting team to watch in the NFL. Baker Mayfield has been electric with Mike Evans and Emeka Egbuka catching passes. This is a 3-0 team that finds a way to win tough games.

The Eagles have a way of shutting down exciting opponents and slowing the pace down. They dictate the way a game is played, and they’ll continue to do that. This game could be full of fireworks, but the Eagles are at the top of the NFL totem pole.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

Indianapolis Colts @ Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams

The Colts might be the real deal, but the only legitimate team they’ve defeated was the Denver Broncos. That game came down to a flag on a missed field goal. Indy is fun to watch, but Daniel Jones has to take down some contenders.

The Rams are the perfect opponent for the Colts. Los Angeles is 2-1, and similar to their opponent, hasn’t defeated anyone legitimate. This could be a fun game on Sunday, but the Rams have a chip on their shoulder after their Week 3 collapse.

Winner: Los Angeles Rams

Jacksonville Jaguars @ San Francisco 49ers

The Jaguars are 2-1 coming off an ugly win over the Texans. While it feels like this team is making improvements, they don’t necessarily feel significant. Trevor Lawrence and Liam Coen are in the “chemistry building” stage right now.

The 49ers might be back to being playoff contenders. They’re 3-0, with two of those wins coming from backup QB Mac Jones. The defense is playing well, but has not lost Nick Bosa for the season. Brock Purdy is likely coming back, and his return should result in a win.

Winner: San Francisco 49ers

Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs

Baltimore Ravens

The Chiefs’ 22-9 victory over the Giants is a red herring like no other. Kansas City struggled for most of the game and didn’t score a touchdown until midway through the third quarter. This team is still not returned to its dynastic form.

The Ravens are coming off a crushing loss to the Lions on Monday Night Football. They did, however, drop 30 points on a strong defense, with Lamar Jackson going 21/27 for 288 yards and three touchdowns.

Baltimore’s two losses were within one score and came at the hands of Super Bowl contenders. The Ravens are the better team here.

Winner: Baltimore Ravens

Chicago Bears @ Las Vegas Raiders

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears won their first game in the Ben Johnson era, and they dominated. It’s hard to tell if their 31-14 victory is because they’re actually good, or if the Dallas Cowboys are that bad. In all likelihood, it’s probably a mix of both.

The Raiders’ offense is productive, but still struggling to let Ashton Jeanty loose. The defense has allowed 81 points in three weeks. This feels like an opportunity for Caleb Williams and Da Bears to light up another NFL defense.

Winner: Chicago Bears

Green Bay Packers @ Dallas Cowboys

Green Bay Packers

Micah Parsons returns to Dallas on Sunday Night Football. The Cowboys’ defense has been subpar at best this season. They rank bottom-five in the NFL in sacks (28th), interceptions (27th), and forced fumbles (29th). The offense is also without CeeDee Lamb for several weeks.

The Packers are Super Bowl contenders right now. They just lost to the Browns in a massive upset, but that won’t derail their talent. The defense is dominant, and the offense is wildly efficient. This might be an ugly game for the Cowboys.

Winner: Green Bay Packers

New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins

New York Jets

The NFL’s Monday night double-header kicks off with what could be a tough watch for fans. The Jets and Dolphins are both 0-3. New York is coming off a close loss to the Buccaneers and might have some potential this year.

The Dolphins might be on the verge of blowing it all up. Their head coach, Mike McDaniel, is on the hot seat, and Tua Tagovailoa is playing some of his worst football to date. This might be a messy game, but the Jets are better put together right now.

Winner: New York Jets

Cincinnati Bengals @ Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos
Sep 21, 2025; Inglewood, California, USA; The Denver Broncos react after a play during the first half against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Mandatory Credit: William Navarro-Imagn Images

The Broncos have somehow found themselves with a 0-2 record despite being a playoff favorite this season. Denver is struggling to put points on the board, but the defense is still performing at a high level. That’s terrible news for Cincinnati.

The Bengals’ offense was pitiful against the Vikings. Five total turnovers and a 48-10 blowout leave little room for a silver lining. This is going to be a long season without Joe Burrow. The Broncos should have a field day on Monday Night.

Winner: Denver Broncos

The NFL season is kicking into full gear, and with every passing week, we have a better sense of who’s a contender. Week 4 is make-or-break for some of these teams. It’s shaping up to be a wonderful season in the NFL.
