Bears In Review

It only took the Bears one year to go from worst to first in the NFC North, earning home-field advantage in this game. After a lackluster rookie season, quarterback Caleb Williams has taken a noticeable step forward. He threw 27 touchdowns against only seven interceptions. There’s still plenty of room for growth, but fans could give the man his flowers.

Chicago has beaten some big-name competition this season, including playoff teams. A sore spot has been the Bears’ 29th-ranked defense, the worst to make the postseason. Lucky for fans, they have the sixth-ranked offense, landing them ranked 12th in point differential.

Packers In Review

The Packers are lucky to have played well earlier in the year, losing the final four games of the season. The injury bug has infected some of their most important names on the roster. Losing players like tight end Tucker Kraft and defensive end Micah Parsons for the year were massive blows, and that’s just scraping the icing off the cake. There are injury concerns around their top two quarterbacks, and much more. Find the latest team injury report from ESPN here.

Finishing last season ranked fifth in both offense and defense, Green Bay started the year with hope and optimism. Things were still promising a few weeks in, but the Packers fell to 15th on offense and 12th in defense. Losing key players on both sides of the ball may be the steepest hill for them to climb this weekend.

End Of My Bears Vs. Packers Rant

Both teams hold genuine hope of winning, but both also have glaring warts. Can the Bears’ subpar defense step up against a banged-up Packers’ offense? Does the Green Bay defense have enough to keep it close without Parsons? It’ll be an unheralded player that makes the difference on either side.
