The 2025 Royal Rumble is officially here, and it is an exciting time for WWE. This has been the most unpredictable royal rumble in many years. Royal Rumble matches have many predictions, but I have 10 bold ones.
Say his name, and he will appear. Yes, Joe Hendry is going to be in the 2025 Royal Rumble. It’s not even a secret, as Joe Hendry tweeted. However, the spot where he comes out has not been revealed. The perfect place is at the number 2 spot. It has to be played in full, especially considering how over his entrance is. Hendry goes in at number 2 and should last a decent amount.
It’s been clear she’s WWE-bound for many months. The perfect way for her to debut as a full-time pro wrestler is in the Royal Rumble match. She doesn’t need to go to NXT.
I’d even have her be one of the final 4 women in the match. She won’t win, but I’d have Jordynne Grace eliminated by Bianca Belair and eventually be revealed as the person who attacked Jade Cargill whenever she returns.
It’s been rumored for a while that Becky Lynch is coming back to WWE. It was reported a few weeks ago that she had signed a new deal. I then asked the question, Now What?
I think an excellent feud for her is to face Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship once she finishes business with Liv Morgan. So after she eliminates Liv from the match, why not have Lyra Valkyria eliminate her to start planting the seeds for their feud, hopefully at WrestleMania?
Logan Paul may be a tremendous piece of work out of the ring, but he is an outstanding professional wrestler. One of his goals in WWE is to have a professional wrestling match with John Cena. Well, the perfect place to have that match is WrestleMania.
How do they get there? Well, they can go in multiple directions, but Step 1 is to have Logan Paul eliminate him from the Royal Rumble Match. It would bring so much heel heat to Paul and start a rivalry between them. By the way, Cena needs to win that match as it’s his last WrestleMania show, and I’d hate for Cena to lose there.
This one is a bit of a long shot, as the health status of Big E is still unclear. Especially as neck injuries are no joke, but man, the pop will be amazing when Big E is back in the ring. It would be awesome if Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were in the rumble, and Big E would enter and eliminate both.
Especially for that crazy Raw segment celebrating the 10th anniversary of the New Day, where Xavier and Kofi betrayed Big E. It happens when Big E will factor into eliminating Xavier and Kofi from the Rumble. Whether it’s as a participant or not, though, time will tell.
An ironman/ironwomen in the Royal Rumble is a pro wrestler who lasts the longest in the match. I think it’s clear that Penta will last the longest in the match, and I love what he has been doing in WWE. Penta being the number 1 entrant would not surprise me at all.
As for the women’s side, I am going with Roxanne Perez from NXT. Especially with how impressive she has been in NXT the last few years and her likely getting called up to the main roster soon, she should be in this match the longest and eliminate Bayley.
Regarding the Royal Rumble, I think a record will be broken this year. Braun Stroman and Brock Lesnar record 13 eliminations in a Royal Rumble. Stouman did it in the Greatest Royal Rumble Show held in Saudi Arabia, and Brock Lesnar did it in the 2020 Royal Rumble. Well, that is going to change in this royal rumble, and I want Jacob Fatu to be the one to break the record and eliminate 15 men.
That’s right 50% of the rumble will be eliminated because of Fatu. The dude is incredible, and he needs to keep being built up as a dangerous superstar. As for who eliminates him, The Tribal chief Roman Reigns needs to do it.
This one is another long shot, but I think Bianca Belair should win the Royal Rumble. I hate to be that guy, but she has been wasted being a part of the Women’s Tag Team Division. Yes, she is the Women’s tag champ with Naomi, but there’s no division. The WWE needs to eliminate that division and burn the tag belts because they’re pointless.
Bianca needs to be inserted back in the Women’s World Championship picture. I also want to see a match between her and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania. I don’t know who else can challenge for Ripley’s belt, and I don’t want to see her face Liv Morgan again. So have Bianca win it, and let’s have a match with her and Ripley.
As of now, the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match is John Cena. However, as mentioned earlier, I have Logan Paul eliminating him as a prediction. So Cena will be out of the final two.
The two wrestlers I see as the final at the Rumble are Roman Reigns and CM Punk. Why those two? Well, it’s for a storyline reason, with Paul Heyman owing a favor to CM Punk.
I was surprised that Punk didn’t win the Royal Rumble last year, but that was a blessing in disguise. Punk legit got injured in that match and was out for many months, so Rhodes’s winning was the right choice. I think CM Punk cashes in on that favor with Heyman. With him and Roman as the final two entrants, Punk wins, with Roman convinced by Heyman to let Punk win. It would even help build a match between the two in the future.
